Hi :hello:
I had a rest from running yesterday and just as well as my abs and legs were very sore, out again tonight - lots of work to do by Xmas. Dh and I are trying to play with each others head by suggesting lots of tempting things to eat and saying 'you look tired have a rest'. Ha ha won't work, I can be very stubborn sometimes!
In other news:
* Received a cheque from a survey site for £28.09 so will add that to ISA
* Gas bill online today and we are in credit by £9.72!
* We're going to a 40th anniversary party next Friday and I got a gorgeous dress off an ebay shop which I paid for with my Paypal funds so only cost me about £10. I am keeping it hidden until then, but I'll get dh to take a piccy.
Have a good day all.0 -
well done on resisting!! and well done on the gas bill..:j i'm still waiting for my electric bill to come through so that i can pay it off and switch supplier..it's an ongoing saga...
hope you have a fab time next friday...and do post the pics of the dress..:D0 -
Paid by 2 mystery shopping sites today a collective £101.40 :T, so now ISA is standing at £673.92 and some more pennies due to come in. I need to put some more in the savings for windows but needed the cash in our current account.0

Congrats on the ISA, wouldn't it be nice one day to be told 'there's a £3,600 limit' and be able to fill it up! One of my aims is to be able to do this one day.
It's sometimes a struggle splitting the money into areas where it needs to go - how do you do yours?
Anything exciting planned for the weekend?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

I know, maybe after the mortgage is paid we'll fill up the ISA!
I split up the money by putting all the cash that I earn from survey sites, amazon or ebay sales into the ISA and money from tax credits and child benefit into savings. Sometimes I need some extra cash so I won't transfer the t/c or c/b if I need it, hence why it's slow to build up at the mo.
When I go back to work, I'll split any extra into what I need building up.
Nothing planned for the weekend apart from running, and taking dd swimming on Sunday. What about you?
See you soon, got to collect dd from school x0 -
A 65th birthday party tonight - should be good fun, busy busy this weekend, as always!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Just checked online banking again and realised that money from Bingo has been paid in so another £8.19 to add to ISA.
Also today I got our electricity bill and even with my scrooge like use with have used more this half of the year compared to the same time last year! How did that happen? Maybe it's because I've been at home more often for the last few months, I hope it drops off again when I go back to work as they've increased my monthly payments to £69.0 -
congrats on the healthy isa!!:D
i am sure that your electric will go down when you are back at work...one of the problems of having time at home is that i spend all day on the computer!! i justify the additional leccy by thinking how much money i am saving by being involved in this site....:rotfl:0
