Hi all,
Well I found out this morning that that payment of £30.15 was from the Unemployment insurance company, something about not informing their customers in good enough time of the monthly payment increase. So they have refunded 3 months of the extra amount plus 5% interest, a nice little extra to go in the ISA.
Have just done a mystery shop which went well and have a postal one underway.
Next week when hubbie gets paid I can transfer his overtime money, this should bring me to over half my target for the mortgage money :T.
We've decided to get the bathroom window done at the same time as the 2 bedrooms and then start saving to have the bathroom redecorated. When I've got £500 then I'll get a renewed quote and hopefully won't need too much more for the extra window.
Hope everyone is well in this time of doom and gloom!
Talking of gloomy, I went into work on Monday to see my colleagues - still moaning about the same things that they should just sort out themselves! I'm glad I've still got some time off to prepare sharing an office with them again. Luckily I work across the countryside so don't have to see them too often. Anyway the one bonus of going was that they got me £40 of Boots vouchers for Tom so plenty of nappies paid for by them.

Good morning, we've spent the weekend so far sorting out the attic and chucking loads of rubbish I've got a few books to put on Amazon and dh still needs to sort out his games. Off to swimming soon then finish attic on return.
I got paid £6.79 from Amazon so will transfer to ISA later, nothing else going on at the mo.
DH work made another 5 people redundant on Friday so now doing sporadic redundancies, so we'll keep going until it's his turn.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Attic done - 12 rubbish bags later we're shattered, huge amount to skip and some bits to sell or take to charity shop.
DH is still coming round to being financially savvy, he asked for a set of flight Sim manuals for Xmas/ his birthday in Jan and they'll cost over £100 pounds. When he suggested that he'll sell some games to put towards it I was gobsmacked. I think the altitude of being up in the attic has got to him!
A nice relaxing evening ahead, then early night me thinks.0 -

Enjoy the early night
Hope the loft's well insulated, if not, sounds like an ideal time to increase to 250mmm (10") now you've both worked hard to clear it down.0 -
The attic has been converted into a room so all insulation etc done before we got the house. It will be dd's bedroom when she's a bit older.0

Sounds like she will have a wonderful sized space "all of her own".0

Hi all,
Tomorrow is dh's payday so as soon as money hits the account then many bills to pay!
Busy tomorrow:
* Post 2 books sold on Amazon
* Post some money off vouchers sold on ebay
* List a bathroom cupboard on ebay (sorted out bathroom today)
* Send cheque to MIL for our share of Xmas break :xmastree:
* Feed parents cat as they are on holiday
* Withdraw £8.69 from a bingo site I had forgotten about
* Transfer dh's overtime money to ISA, will update sig when I know how much
Somewhere in between all that look after little ones, eat and check for any surveys!
Picked up some lovely boys clothes from Freecycler this evening, what a great resource.
See you sometime in the future:D

You did well getting the attic sorted Eva - 12 bags of rubbish!
ROFL at the thought of your OH's face when you suggested he sold stuff to contribute - I think I've actually brought mine round to the idea of putting bits on his Christmas list to save him having to pay for them himself!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

It was dh who suggested we sell some games to contribute! I was shocked at the 12 bags as well.
Did all my little jobs today, as well as dropping off some bits at the charity shop and going to Mr T's to use a voucher - got 500 points for buying baby stuff and queried when it didn't go through due to milk powder, I pointed out that there were no exclusions listed so they added the points themselves!
Topped up mobile today and got another 500 free texts for the next month, PAYG definitely saving me money.
DH overtime was £150, so when transferred to ISA this brings the total to a respectable £542.86 - hooray.
Bathroom cabinet on ebay, is collection only so not sure if it will sell but hey ho we'll see.
