    Morning!

Just about to go out to do a mystery shop at a castle with the family, have a lovely packed lunch and is a nice sunny day.

I've got some money off/ extra points vouchers on ebay which will finish today, I can't believe how much people pay for these but better the pennies in my pocket!

Will post more later, have a good day

  • Hope you're having a lovely day Eva - sun is out here too (why oh why am I sat indoors on the computer then?!)

I just looked at the vouchers on eBay - unbelievable what some people will offer on isn't it!

Vouchers sold for £6 - muppets! still we need these people to pay the mortgage.

Had a lovely time at the castle, a nice picnic and even better to be paid for it. If anyone has a chance to visit North Wales go to Penrhyn Castle.

I forgot to mention that I'm going to start matched betting again, it will take me a while to build up funds from this as don't have the cash flow available to do many at a time and will have to wait for funds to be returned before I do another. Will have to pop over to gambling board to get the best sign-up offers.

Today have made; £19 from mystery shop and £6.06 from ebay.

Tomorrow hubbie and I are going to start sorting the attic and hopefully I can persuade him to part with some of his games and books to list on Amazon.

I have one mystery shop on Friday nothing else come up for this week so far.

I am treating myself next Saturday as getting my hair cut, first time in about a year so I think it's due!

    Hi,
Have just done a mystery shop after the company phoned me up and offered extra money if I could complete it, plus they offered me one that isn't on their website and ring good shoppers. Have made £11.40 today and £8 tomorrow.

Haven't started on the attic as hubbie not well so I might do tomorrow whilst everyone out of the house.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

    Good morning,

Some little tasks to do today:

*Short mystery shop and is only down the road so won't take long.
*Post vouchers sold on ebay at the weekend
    *General tidy up of house
    *Update budget accounts
*Clean kitchen cupboard doors as disgusting!
    *Start tidying attic

That should keep me quiet for a bit.

*Start tidying attic - started, omg it's going to take weeks!

Have managed to do a few things so far, I have also checked my mortgage account online and currently we owe:

    Mortgage - 99,840.82
    Unsecured loan - 10,946.60
    Secured Loan - 6,605.11

So total balance is 117,392.53, good to be sub 100k on the mortgage and can't wait to attack those loans further.

I was interested in the current house prices in the area as a new family have move in across the road but details not available yet, and was surprised to see that our house was sold in 2004 but the previous owners had lived here for 8 years when we bought it in 2006 - odd! Anyway the house in 2004 was bought for 28,000!!!!!!

I've picked up another mystery shop, so have 2 on Friday whilst dh is at home - he has Thursday and Friday off.

Sounds like you've had a busy wekend evab, where do you find all that energy?

Could I be nosy and ask how hard it is to sell stuff on Amozan? I have a few books to get rid off and wondered if Amozan was eaasy to get on with.

It's really easy to sell items on Amazon, just put in the ISBN or name of the product, set your price and list it giving a brief description of the condition and the fee doesn't get paid until your item sells.

However you need to be careful about how much you sell it for as they set the postage fee and the listing price can be quite high so you might not make as much as you would like (you can check how much you would receive as you're listing), but I generally send items second class to reduce the postage cost.

Some items can sell really quickly and others take ages it just depends on how many other people are selling the same thing.

R.e energy - I don't know where it comes from, but I think its helped me lose the 9lb in weight since having the baby!
