:mad: Just got a letter from bank today to phone due to suspicious activity, someone tried to take a tested payment of £1 from account on Friday but nothing to do with us. So now both cards stopped and have to wait for new ones again (3rd time now), I wondered why my card didn't work in Tesco yesterday!
Still pleased that bank are on the ball and would rather have inconvenience of getting a new card rather than loads of money go missing and having to sort that out.
Bloody gits won't get away with it, luckily I pay for most things by cash these days so I knew it wasn't me or hubbie.
Here's to a better rest of the day.

OMG that's horrid - do you know who it was?0
-
no some credit company but we haven't used the cards for ages.0
-
Sorted out a couple of mystery shops, one for tomorrow and one for Monday, couldn't do another one as needed to pay by debit card and I ain't got one of those have I!
Signed up to a couple of other sites so hopefully will start to get a few more assignments.
DH has some overtime at the weekend so will put that money aside too.0 -
Did a mystery shop today so earned £6 plus a family member sent a cheque for £10 for Tom but I'm sure he won't mind me adding to the fund! Will add to totals when cleared in account.
Also received another voucher from survey site so added to Xmas pot, next year I'm going to keep a running total of cash and vouchers earned to see how much I build up.
Two more items to ebay, so best get on with that and still have to sort out Toms room and attic.

Well done Ev!
When you've finished your sorting do you wanna come help me do mine?
You're so focused! I have boxes with stuff in that I can't face because I know the stuff will have to go somewhere and I don't know where - stuff like old paperwork that still needs to be kept, etc etc. And where should I keep spare duvets (other than in a pile on the floor in the empty spare room!!)
Give the little one a cuddle from his virtual auntie! (i don't do babies - he would never get one in real life LOL!)

Not a bad start to the day:
* Managed to fit into a pair of combat trousers today that I had no hope of wearing last week - very girlie but these little things equal happiness when you have been wearing the same things for the last few months!
* Tax credits have paid a nice lump sum into my account so has cleared half of my overdraft.
* Hubbie brought me a cup of tea this morning - many brownie points earned.
* It's my grandads birthday - he's 89, but sadly he lives in Bedfordshire so won't see him. Need to arrange a trip down south to see family as haven't been for over a year, especially because of grandads age.
* It's not raining - yet!
Still to do today:
* List items on ebay - done
* Pay in a cheque - done
* Post Letter - done
* Clean bathroom - done
* Clean floors downstairs
* Start sorting Toms room
* Go to parents after picking dd up from school later - done
I think that's enough for now! Ev x0 -

Good morning everyone,
Didn't finish everything yesterday so main priority today is to sort out Toms room as now driving me mad!
Payment from Amazon cleared in bank account so another £4.29 added to ISA, current total now £50.33 so starting to build up nicely. Hubbie is working a night shift tonight so will get paid overtime and I've got some more mystery shops next week.
Hubbie gets paid on Monday so need to get out remaining money for his course and our Xmas break, then can start saving some more in ISA but also need to save up to have double glazing in childrens bedrooms as still haven't done this. So another £500 to find!
Right then list for today:
*Take baby to health visitor for check-up - done
*Do a little bit of shopping - done
*Take dd to activity centre whilst hubbie sleeping this afternoon - not enough time
*Mop downstairs - done
*START SORTING TOMS ROOM! - started but can't carry on as hubbie asleep after his night shift
*See if I can get anymore mystery shops for next week. - none worthwhile

Blimey Evab, just caught up with the last page of your thread and you've got loads done :j
I had a nice big sort out last weekend (though still got loads to do) and have already taken 3 bags to the charity stuff and quite a bit of stuff has gone to my sister for her to ebay. I find it really therapeutic to have a sort out but it takes me ages to get round to these things then I get all guns blazing haha. PS well done on getting into the trousers - I've lost a bit of weight (hence some of the charity stuff) and it was a great feeling to fit into all friends and see other stuff hang on me:DMFW Start Date 1.4.08.
