£10 cheque cleared today so have added to ISA, getting towards the first £100 now. Still waiting for a survey site to pay out £50 but their website is so pants that it takes ages to get to the right section for queries, gonna email them instead.
Started Toms room last night but can't carry on yet as hubby going back to bed as hasn't slept well this morning and is shattered, I'm going to take the sprogs to parents for a few hours.
Hubbie is going to look after baby all night so I can have a good sleep, then off swimming tomorrow (dh and dd swimming, whilst Tom and I watch).
Have a good weekend x0 -
Morning - raining again after a lovely weekend.
Busy day for me whilst dd at nursery all day:
* Phone bank to arrange to withdraw some cash from Post Office as cards not here yet - done
* Mystery shop - near to supermarket so can do food shop as well - done
* Sort out washing - done
* Vacuum upstairs - will do tomorrow
* Try and find some more items to ebay/amazon - will do tomorrow
Hubbie got paid today so have to sort out finances for next 2 weeks including dh course which starts next Tuesday (have this money put aside).
What an exciting life I lead, can't wait till we go away for Xmas!0 -
Good morning,
Well here is todays list, finding it keeps me very organized to write it down:
* Vacuum upstairs
* Find an item to sell
* General tidy up of house
* Print off paperwork for mystery shops - I've got another 4 this week
Not setting myself too much today as have to wait in for a parcel delivery, getting a contraption to plug into computer which will track broadband speed and earn me some pennies.
Also need to visit petrol station twice in the next 14 days to earn £5 from another website.
I realized that I'd be able to do more mystery shops when I go back to work as I work over such a distance that I can book a visit around seeing a candidate. Finding some of them tedious but all the pennies help towards that big goal.

Well here is todays list
* Vacuum upstairs - done
* Find an item to sell - nothing found so far but will probably find some things when I start clear the attic room!
* General tidy up of house - done
* Print off paperwork for mystery shops - I've got another 4 this week - done
Received bank cards in the post so need to activate them and then can carry on normally. I have also redeemed £2.20 from Topcashback in my account so will transfer to ISA when avaiable.
Mobile phone usage is going well, have spent £6.70 this month so far and after I top up another £5 I will receive a bonus of 500 texts till the end of the month. I'll top up again at the beginning of October (blimey October!) to get the texts for the whole month.0 -
Ev,
Keep up the good work; it all adds up and at least here we can all keep a record of our individual progress.
I think we'll all find it a long haul this autumn and winter with the global turmoil, economy concerns and shortening days and lengthening fuel bills:rolleyes:
We've gone through these concerns before (if you were working in 1987-1993) but those on this board are already well prepared to handle whatever comes our way, as we have all striven to minimise our exposure and risk.
Despite all the above, do enjoy the time with the children and "normal" clothes!0 -
Hi everyone,
Busy morning today, took dd to school it's her first full day so won't see her until 1455 a long day for her - bless. She was fine just made sure I was picking her up!
I have 2 mystery shops this morning, not far from each other so after baby has had food at 1000 then I'll be off.
I found 2 books to list on Amazon so will do that today.
Was a little naughty last night and booked 2 tickets to see Feeder in concert but it is a surprise for dh xmas prezzie (concert isn't until 5th Nov) and we haven't been to a gig for about 10 years! Also the concert isn't far from us and it will be our first night out together (apart from a quick meal) for about 4 years. So looking forward to that.
Right better be off, lots to do. See you later.

I love Feeder - should be a great concert.:D0

:jHooray to a slightly hazy but at least it's not raining weekend up here!
We were planning to visit my college to show dh where to go for his course on Tuesday but he is in bed after forcing a few beers down his neck, had a long week bless him.
Extra pennies coming in from several places:
* Did 5 mystery shops this week so should get just over £50 if they go through OK.
* Transferred £18.18 from Paypal - was going to wait until it got to £50 in there but nothing to sell at the mo and is better in my ISA.
* £35 coming from mobile phone redemption - last one and PAYG is saving me about £20 so far this month.
* Still waiting for £50 from a survey site so I hope that arrives soon.
* Dh overtime last week will earn him approx £150 in his next pay packet.
So balance will build up brilliantly when all these things come in.
Tax credits have also been sorted and I'm going to put this towards the double glazing needed for kids rooms, as these need doing asap as very drafty in their rooms.
Fingers crossed nothing sneaks up to bite us!

A great summary there of some positive news; enjoy the concert (trust dh doesn't read this), I guess dd will see fireworks display on another evening?

Things going well then Ev - well done to you!
