Hi everyone, not much happening penny wise here but some survey sites building up nicely again.

We've spent a bit of money this week due to nieces birthday and dd birthday in a couple of weeks time. I managed to use vouchers to pay for the majority of the presents so hasn't cost too much.

I'm looking forward to Christmas as I'm gonna win £100 off my dh as we have challenge to see who can lose the closest to 2 stone by then. I think I have the easiest task as my weight is from pregnancy so a bit to go from thighs and belly, my goal is 10lb 10 which at 5ft 6ins is a good weight for me as I'm not naturally slim. Dh is 5ft11 and all his weight is from his belly which isn't very big anyway but means he has to stop drinking! he runs all the time anyway so I don't think he has 2 stone to lose. I've been out running for the last couple of weeks - tonight I'm running to the pool (1 mile), doing a Pilates class, then running home!

I'm going to win, but wish me luck!

Now I feel very guilty as I've slipped back on exercise since summer although 12st at 5' 10" is ok I don't want to exceed it. (I can still remember the days when I couldn't put back on weight lost when ill and missed a few meals, taking weeks to put on a few ib, but then middle age lept out at me!)

I just don't know where I can extract the time from other things (up at 0500, in office at 0630 then like tonight left office 1715 home 1800, dinner 1845... and no way am I exercising after dinner....) need to improve on the balance though as I've also had weekends working too (and all of it at basic salary as a "professional" of course)...

Keep up the good work and let us know who wins!

Stuart you work far too many hours!

P.S. I will win, that £100 will go towards some new clothes as I haven't had any new ones for ages.

Symptomatic of jobs these days in the UK - I daren't calculate my hourly rate but think it's half what it should be!

An excellent incentive then, as worn clothing does get people down. Of course, you'll not buy anything until the sales?
