Hi all
So so sorry have been missing in action... lots going on. Debt coming down but also need urgent repair work on the house so had to urgently take out a sizeable loan. Pretty depressed for a day or so but my new found perfect credit rating helped and it was a fast decision. OH was more depressed than me, but onwards and upwards. We can’t operate in a damp and leaky house (unsafe in the case of 1 bedroom ceiling!!!) so have to plough on and get it done. Just sad though as happened when being DF in 2020 was in sight... but at least it’s not consumer debt in the same sense and is a great opportunity for us to decorate.
I am also focussed on trying to pass my side hustle course and of course the new pup is a handful. A joy but blimey needs lots of attention. He’s not sure about walks but loves food and training... that’ll be the lab in him I am sure! We have also been self isolating... coming to end of 2 weeks shortly. 5 of us cooped up in a house has been a strain at times, teenagers climbing the walls, have spent lots of money on food particularly... but had to be done. Luckily no symptoms, just positive test. Feel very privileged though as apart from not leaving the house nothing has been different.I really hope everyone is doing ok. Give me a couple of weeks and I’ll be on here getting right back up to speed with all your going’s on - much love

Ahhh - that's a pain re needing some new finance - but how good that your great credit rating means a fast decision - and no doubt a decent rate! Sometimes we need to spend money - and leaks definitely fall into this! Anyway, it's only a bump in the road - you'll still get there
