I've taken sarnies to work two days running and, having been used to making them in a rush in the mornings, I actually made tomorrows sarnies THIS EVENING :eek: - somebody call the doctor quick :D:D
All in all not a bad day.

Hi Poorbabe, I make my sarnies up at the weekend, put them into individual sarnie bags and pop them into freezer - this depends really on what your fillings are, some freeze better than others. Then each morning.. I get the sarnie out, it is defrosted by lunchtime. It also stops my eating them by 9.30 am!
Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time
  • Hi In Search Of Me, just wondered..you mentioned you got a 0% deal with Egg was that as a new customer or did you get a special deal with them? Have a big limit (nearly 8k) and really want to move my loan soon!!

  • aww hugs for you angel...can you have a separate account for DDM's so they're budgetted for & the money is safe then & you wont get any charges? Whats left is hen yours debt money...Does make it alot easier to manage your money that way...just a thought...How about a loal college fr the hair cut or a salon student evening or mobile haridresser as they're often cheaper. Would asda or tesco do any shoes for DD that would do for now? Hope you sort it but huge squidgy huge for you...just remember that you are tackling your debts and you will get debt free!!
money bees are conspiring against me early on in my long haul. Mortgage company added on more charges meaning balance not really going down. Bank added another charge meaning 2 weeks food budget gone.
DD needs decent shoes/boots for school where she wont fall over all the time in the ice and rip her trousers/jackets
    need a hair cut
credit card interest charges swallowing up most of my payments. (def going to try clear this off asap)

However, have 2 job interviews next week
came £7 under budget this week on food

going to be a LONG few years.

  • I'm an existing customer and they sent me a leaflet in the post! I did ring them just before Christmas (knowing my 0% with MBNA was due to end) and they said my anniversary date was July so was pleasantly surprised to get it! Only untill August but better than paying 17% meanwhile! Hopefully by then one of the others will offer another 0%! May be worth you looking at life of balance unless you can pay loads off quickly...have you looked at Martins article on it?HTH?

  • Cheers for that In Serach Of Me!! Might give them a call as spoke to them before christmas to find out when my anniversary offer was and the guy on the phone couldn't even tell me if I would get one this year-opened my account in April 2004 and thought it was automatic ever year!! Don't want to apply for any more credit so am looking to use the limits/cards I already have!!
