    hi there,

would i be able to join this club please? :) do i need to subscribe to it? (don't really know how to do this but i will have a look!)

    basic background - me and oh - (33 & 35) no kids - 2 cats.

around £31,000 of debt - mostly with DCAs so interest frozen.

    basic salaries - oh - £1900 per month - me - £915 per month

mortgage is interest only, hopefully until debt is paid (£333 per month) - mortgage balance - £82000

i really, really want to stick to my plan of paying £1100 each month to our debts (we could be debt-free in 29 months) our basic wages pay our bills and our debts (£1100) every month and other insurances (life, income protection, home and contents etc) and we can still have £400 left over for food, petrol spends etc. (why am i not able to manage this!!)

I need motivation to stick to this budget and not take on more debts for general spending throughout the month (payday loans etc)

    many thanks xx

    Hi all

Juts after a quick bit of advice - today was pay day (yay!) however after my budgeting which I do every pay day to keep me right with what I have to spend I worked out my spare money after bills are paid is just £10 (boo!) This is supposed to see me fed and watered and petroled etc etc but it will be a bloody miracle if that happens?!

The problem is that my car needs it's service and MOT and I'd forgotten all about this...so that £146 tomorrow and if there are any problems with it eg need new tyres I am totally screwed!!!!

So any ideas? I got rid of all my credit cards apart from my Barclaycard but this is at it's limit (I very sensibly asked them to bring my available credit down to £1000 when i'd paid it off) I also have no overdraft with my bank account and due to my debt I can't get one and I can't and don't want to get any more credit cards.

I have no-one I can borrow any money off and no savings as all my spare cash goes on paying debt off (an error I have now fully realised), am I just totally screwed then? Any ideas anyone?????

    Thanks!!
  • I dont know what to say, how badly do you need the car ?? can you do anything to build income ??
