Ceecee31 I'll be there with you most of the way :)

I've just reorganised my monthly budget and I discovered I'm actually paying off more than I thought I was so my DF journey has just been reduced by a year and a half to 6 and a half years :j

Thanks Sarah. Until I found this website, I thought I was totally alone, worrying constantly about debt, and how to pay it all back. Now I've calmed down thanks to the excellent advice from this forum and I know that other people are just as bad off, or sometimes even worse off than me.

Let's all support one another and roll on 2018!!! LOL

Fab! Look forward to your tales on the way. I'm sure there will be lots of ups and downs, but I feel I'm in control of my debts now, and not the other way round.

    Good Morning all!!!
today is a bright day. Knuckling down to get myself ready for some real money saving action. Was in full force this time last year but then pregnancy and redundancy reduced me to putting the blinkers on and going la la laaaa when it came to money.
So plans for today - surveys, surveys, surveys. My SOA from last year informed me that I spend in excess of 500 per year on bday presents alone (bit more than that at christmas :eek oh has a big family lol) So far this year presents have been bought with my rewards from survey or cashback sites! how fab is that! If I even save £500 this year on not spending out on presents then thats fab - In fact thats an 8th of the big cc that could be paid off! Ive already got 500 in savings for xmas presents too so no need to worry about that :)
Hope everyone is having as productive a dfw day
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
