morning
yes sir0 -
What mood are we all in today? Any nice plans?
I've put some marmalade into my bread & jam making machine, dd is watching a new DVD nanna bought for her and I'm having another debt-day. It has got off to a tremendous start, in that 1) 1 of my credit card companies & the debt company it has involved are FINALLY communicating and my payments seem to be classed as coming in on time!
2) Another credit card company has written to offer nearly £150 in mis-sold PPI, the full amount, so that has really got me
3) Shop Direct are idiots and think that accounts in my name on my credit file aren't showing up?! I shall check that this morning and write back if necessary.... 14 accounts it shows, when I've only had 12... Twits!I've got nothing else but I've got my family.

Just got back from doing a BIG food shop. Used so many vouchers & took advantage of so many deals (only on food we wanted) that I saved a THIRD off my shopping and got enough to stock my kitchen for a long time for £50!
:money:
Sending happy vibes to everyone tonight & sharing the love! :lovethoug:dance:
You should be over the moon, I'm so far from clearing any single debt, I can't wait til I do so!
Well done on the shop savings, that is great!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hi jwil! Haha! My choc binge will occur tonight when dd is in bed. Gotta set an example n all that! lol. Glad to hear you're good! Yes Shop Direct are completely stupid, but it gave me a giggle that they obviously cannot even read. Have already written a new letter to post recorded today. Plus ones required to send to a cc co. for processig incorrect data on me. I'm almost inspired to get a job within one of these companies one day just to get them treating people properly. Sometimes I feel like I must really know more than these idiots!!
Well done MIT am thinking positive thoughts for you! :TI've got nothing else but I've got my family.

Hi all. I haven't posted in this part of the forum before but have been reading this thread with interest.
I've got quite a bit of debt (see sig), but OH has much much more and the dire credit rating to boot. So I am doing all I can to help him beat the debt collection agencies!
Our plan is to get debt free in around 5 years, so that we can maybe think about starting a family (we are both mid-20s at the mo).
Some of your posts are so inspirational- hope we can take control of our debt as you all are doing!Mortgage£148,725 Student loan£13,050 HSBC loan£12,221
