chocolate is good - not usually for me as I'm lactose tolerant. When I feel bad I go on a binge (pizza and cheesecake) then regret it. Might make myself a hot chocolate with soya milk now you've mentioned it...

posting on here helps me keep positive. This thread is the only place I can be really honest about my money situation and no one beats me down for it.

It is so nice to have somewhere to go and not be judged (I suppose it's on of MSE's mottos isn't it, not to judge?).

I like being able to keep track of how I've done and being part of other people's achievements.
Got an email today from a book club offering to completely rectify a dispute I've had with them and am expecting a cheque for over £90 soon! :j

Am spending today as 'debt day 2' trying to fight illegal default notices. DD is making birthday cakes out of a cardboard box and coloured pencils!

Mmm yes I hear cardboard's very filling and great with some custard! hehe. Perhaps this afternoon we'll bake some real cakes, I'm sure DD must be getting a bit bored!

I just click through the regular emails, try a few surveys, and shop online throught them (you get points when you buy from Debenhams etc). 3000 points can get you a food shopping voucher. Or you can redeem about 2000 for various DVDs and even blu-rays!

I'm very close to a voucher on maximiles. I could do with some cash tho! not doing a lot of shopping online at the mo - used to be crazy with online shopping.

I was joking about the chocolate lol. Motivation comes to me from posting, seeing other people in the same, and often much worse, situation as me.REading their posts. I love the fact that no-one knows me and other than the odd troll no-one bothers what you do and everyone encourages you all the way.
My friends have no idea how bad my situation is, neither does my family. THey would just worry so I don't tell them anything. THey know I am skint and they know I have debt but have no idea as to how much and that's the way it will stay

O no Happy what did the bank do? I HATE banks and building societies alike. BUT I sometimes love the mistakes they make if it benefits me! hehe
