Hi Jacks, mystery shoping rocks doesnt it? lol. I get to act like James Bond all spy like. lol, it makes me laugh anyway!

One night I made the mistake of referring to my mystery shops as "assignments" or "missions" :p so now if I take my hubby with me he hums the theme to Mission Impossible all the way there! :rotfl:

oops poor babe, mind you its amazing how quickly you can spend that much isnt it! You'll catch up with some scrimping and next time you have the urge you'll remember adding this one up before you do it again! We didnt get here overnoght & neither will we get out of it overnight! these lifetime habits take time to change & become new behaviours! Look at that DFD Jacks, you're almost there!!

    Hiya honeybun!

I know honey - I'd love to get it down to some time in 2008 so we shall see.

It's amazing when I remember that the first time I did the Snowball I almost pooed my pants cos it said 2028!

And that was only 15 months ago.

I am a bit focussed and obsessed with getting there though - and terribly dull when I go out!

I can bore on for hours about this site, snowballing, the evil that is the commercial IVA company, and money stuff in general. :o

Whatever did I used to talk about???:D

I've just worked my way through the entire thread, and found what I've been missing! Can I join and have a number please?

  • Sure can Karmacat - number allocated & you're no 63! Wow we'll be 100 soon!
Have not gone to work despite thnking I would yesterday as dont feel great still so thought it best to have an extra day to recover properly. I also have a cracking headache which I think is probably caused by the fact that I've been sitting for 2 days so am going to see if I can get an acupuncture treatment. Luckily I have 2 left from a block so I wont have to pay!
    Other than that nothing planned...

Thanks ISOM! Just got myself up and (almost) properly dressed- sorry to hear you're still ill, best to take that extra day and not relapse. I've updated the sig, think I better update the diary before I lose it, and then off to tidy up a bit before work at 11. Take care.

    Hiya

Thought'd i'd put in a bit about myself and I may even take the plunge and do a bit of a (gulp) soa!!

As you can see from my sig we're in a fair bit of debt - 50% we had between us when we met and the remainder has come from dealing with DH's ex-wife.

At the moment our monthly incoming is £3,000, debt payments are £1,000, food and petrol is £600 (we have teenagers!), mortgage £700, utilities & phone etc £400 leaving £300 for everyday stuff (bus pass for DD for college, DS football training subs etc)

We are 'surviving' through Christmas and tend to start serious 'money-making' in the new year (after some professional exams and much 'cheap' alchol consumption!)

I too can only handle small challenges and would definately be up for one in the new year.....not particularly good at coming up with ideas though :rotfl:

    Thanks for all the encouragement
