Its the first year I have ever saved and not used credit so should be an incentive to keep costs low as whatever is left is going straight off debts. I am lucky that I go to Mum and Dads for dinner too so dont have to worry about food shopping!

We will have to have a Christmas 08 savings club for next year! x x

Hi all, hope everyones ok this evening, I'm now the proud owner of a stainless steel slow cooker (as recommended) and i'm now slowly going thru the recipe section on this forum.....

made another £15 on ebay tonight, and I'm going to put my clubcard vouchers on there tomorrow.

has everyone started downloading the "I fought the Lloyds" song?

I've texted, the number, (using hubby's work phone! ) posted the link on Facebook, forwarded the email...I'm well on top of it.

Plus I'm going to a gig on Monday (on the guest list so it's freeeeeee!) and Bily Bragg is going to be there so I'll be sure to buttonhole him and tell him all about it - protest songs and fighting injustice are right up his alley!

Hello all - off out in a bit! Friend coming on way to a concert (oo sorry gig!!) so we're going for drinkies & then I have book club meal. Someone decided that ice scating in wonderland would be good so I agreed to go & watch but alch will be involved. Mind you its freezing here so I've got lots of layers on!! Gont to try & not spend too much but I go out so rarely I also want to enjoy it! Hugs all!

Had a lovely eve out but have been poory ever since. The winter wonderland was nice 1 step....wouldnt pay that for skating though & thankfully it had stopped raining! Went to drs this am and she says its a part nasty virus thats going about and has a tendency to think you're ok then knocks you back again which is what happened! Back on the sofa and sleeping alot...
