  • Just when I think things are looking up...

Washing machine has broken, it was full of water and the door wouldn't open. Managed to pry the door open, water all over kithen floor and still the drum is half full - I have no idea what's wrong with it.

Then, putting hoover round while cleaning house ready for Christmas decs, and belt snapped. Replaced belt TWICE - it kept snapping, burnt my finger on the inside of the hoover while trying to rpeair it, now have to hoover whole house using nozzle attachment thing.

Looks like the money I've been saving for the last CC will end up going on a new hoover and washing machine

How come this stuff always happens??? It makes me want to cry.

    Hi everyone (newbies included)

I haven't been here in a while. Have been working on having low spend/no spend days with limited success .

Got paid yesterday so did the usual number-crunching which needed to take into account my Christmas treat (Christmas ball and related expenses). Have finally done the BT from MBNA to my new Barclaycard Platinum, but wasn't able to do the full amount, so will have to stick the remaining amount onto my Egg card (assuming the 0% anniversary is still available ).

It's going to be a rough month, moneywise but I'm not worrying as come January I'll be back on the wagon for the long haul :(:T.

Let's celebrate the weekend in fine style:beer: (I've got leftovers and a beer, with Jacobs crackers if I get peckish later on).

    Hi all:hello:

just a quick update tomorrow i'm gonna pay off my first debt, my rent arrears, but me being a numpty  I didn't add that into my total debt:o
but its 1 debt less and an extra £26 per month to pay on the others.

Probably not the right DFW way to do it but gonna use that money to start paying family back i think it would make me feel better:confused:

By the middle of month I will be under £8000:T

    hope everyone is doing ok

Evening all - how are we all doing.

Well I paid my GE Loan off at last today and a load of other payments. I have reduced my debt free date to Jan 2012 (yeay me) - cant you tell I have been paid today!

Been to a retirement do tonight so I am a little bit tipsy (apologies for any spelling mistakes!) but very DFW as food and drink free!

Hope everyone is ok, big hello to all newbies. x x x x
