My parents have 2 black labs who are really quite old now. Really it's the dogs I go home to see . I'm dreading the inevitable phone call with the older one They keep losing him as he can't hear or see them any more, so there#s been lots of trawling the park looking for him. Usually he's made his way home or the neighbours have spied him and let us know where he's got to.

He's the most sensible, calm and contented member of our family. He doesn't even mind my 3 year old nephew trying to haul hom out of his way .

Not much debt-busting going on here - trying to sort out bank accounts and won't pay anything until I know that's sorted. Though so far, it's been a NSD.

Been avoiding Tescos to reduce spending. Have yet to owrk out how werll Feb went and how March will look. Think it will be the usual off target but not disasterous.

OMG DH did weekly food shop yesterday and managed to go £40 over budget:eek:
we are now skint until next Fri :mad:
on the plus side we have plenty of food in the house:) and I dont need to shop tomorrow;)

Hii dog doing ok I think hopefully we can visit her she's been doing well the vet said but he's reluctant to let visit incase it knocks her recovery because we have to leave her there till she's discharged I'm so gutted I've misse her loads xx

aww hugs for you htgdf...my cat came back couple days ago but still not 100%...fingers crossed its the antibiotics...couldnt have not been in to see her as I didnt want her to feel abandoned so went every day for ten mins...personally would have thought it more stressul for her not to see you!...when are you expectng her home?
Quietish day here - feeling tired so will potter...out for a bit early even but other than that a quiet day cutting fabric for my quilt!

well im not allowed to see her shes doing well now learning to walk again and trying to stand on her back two legs... still upset ive not seen her... the vet said 5-7 days post op depending on recovery but ive missed her loads... im feeling awful because oh was meant to go on a stag do paid and saved for but im on nights that week and daisy will be in her 3rd week post op when we are meant to know how succesful the operation has been and we cant really leave her alone for 12 hours due to my nights and ohs absence so hes cancelling his attendance the dog comes first id feel awful if anything happened .... so i am pleased hes staying home... ive just been emialed a spreadsheet from a lady in my dreams i need to sit down and punch numbers in .... tired of the intrest rates on things lol ! xx

Good Afternoon everyone............I hope everyone had a good weekend.

Just back from the rugby in Cardiff.................really really tired, but a really good weekend as always. I spent a little bit more than I should, but at least nothing went on my cc.......I'll just be skint for the rest of the month. I also got to spend some time with DS1..........which is always good! I'm not working till Tuesday, so tomorrow I'm going to be ebaying everything that isn't nailed down. I've paid all my bills, so I'll just have to be really careful till next payday

I can't believe its the 1st of March tomorrow :eek:
