Evening all...welcome newbies. Hang in there...sometimes its up, sometimes its down...TEK sorry about bathroom window - its not just it being broken but the upset at being vandalised...
Feeling cack again and feeling chesty - only just over one cold! Going to have a bash at living on 100 next month to see if I can do it - not incl petrol! Fingers crossed!!

Good evening everyone.......no disasters at work today so all in all a good day! I've just put a pack of haircolour on my hair and waiting for it to develop. I'm going to Cardiff for the weekend tomorrow and I had the box in the bathroom cabinet so I thought I'd follow the lead of the "use it or lose it" thread...........hope it looks ok.....its looking a bit dark ..lol.

DS3 came home from school with a really bad migraine this morning. I'm really lucky my parents live close to the school, so he spent the afternoon in bed there. Poor thing was really fed up.......... he's missed out on a trip to the skating rink this evening.

Anyway.............I'm going to try really hard to be good in Cardiff and not spend money I don't have. I've given my DH my credit card and have a little spending money saved, so I can have a tiny tiny treat. I should be safe from the shops on Saturday .......we're going to see DS3's new house and to see the game. (DH is rugby mad, so he's paid for the tickets!!).

Today was a NSD (apart from a newspaper and I'm not sure if they count!)

And, so far, a NSD. Tomorrow will be bad (hairdressers cut and dye :eek: and ice-skating with my friend and her kids - ice-rink is in the middle of the shopping centre - I must be strong, I must be strong, I must be strong...)

Good morning everyone :wave: A NSD yesterday which was good aimimg for the same today if life doesn't get in the way !! DDs mobile contract up soon and she was looking yesterday on comparison website just now she is paying £30 per month and I am hoping to cut this to £20 at the most She needs one with a lot of free texts (she's 14 need I say more!:eek:) There seem to be a lot of good deals out there with a lot of freebies attatched some sound too good to be true but she is determined to get the best deal she can. Makes your heart swell with pride:A she's turning into one of us !!. Now to work on the other 2:D Hope you all have a great money saving day X

I have another three and a half years to go. We started with 90K of debt and have now got it down to 60k.
Have just hit a bit of a slump and really feeling it hard going just now. Life seems to be a bit on hold and am feeling a bit down over the whole thing.
I know that it wont last long and that we are totally doing the right thing for us but just wondered if any of the 'long haulers' have any coping tips for times like this?

Hi didn't want to read and run x coping tips il be honest I don't have any brcase half the time I'm not coping :-). But I come on here and vent that helps. Well done on shifting 30k do far that's wondeful x
