Hello and welcome to all the new long haulers!
I have found this thread so helpful and motivational. If I'm having a bad day I come on here and instantly feel more like I can get to the end of my debts.
Not been up to much, done about 3 weeks of my new second job, in a pub, worked the last two nights and working the next two also, and loving it! Means I get to go out and be sociable and get paid for it!! And I already feel a bit less stressed because of the extra income. Just hope the exhaustion doesn't get to me...
Keep going everyone, even if takes decades at least we're getting there and we finally have control over our finances, which makes us all pretty great!!

Just done a survey for £2 - every little helps!:j0

Thanks for the welcome everyone
I think I am still trying to accept that I am gonna be in debt for a few years yet... I am impatient! lol! Our debt is small compared to many here, but it stresses my none-the-less!

Just wanted to say hi!
My DMP starts 1st Sep and is for a whopping £70k+ (don't ask how/why!) and will take me 15 years to clear so I think I'm going to be around here for a while.

There ya go!Wow, nearly up to 200!! If people feel able do say a bit about why youre here while remembering youre on a public forum!
Wellits a bigday in ISOM land as I'm 40 today! Have had a lovely day today and celebrations will go on until next week - a meal tomorrow and then another next week. Things are really hard going at the moment due to work - cant say more than that as people know I post on here but suffice to say that this was not the way I planned to "start" life at 40....my family and friends have all be incredible and I've been touched to the core by a abundence of love and its made me realise that stuff meaningless and really counts for nothing which is a revelation for me having got so into debt by shopping...the next thing is to spend as little as possible...
Lovely to have so many people wi us. We will all get there in the end! Just gonna be up and down but hopefully when some are down, others are up and can chivvy each other on!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
