welcome to newbies and well done to all those plodding along

Little thought for everyone - as long as we keep plodding ahead and paying off - even a little bit - it is always better now than it was last month or 2 months ago

When you feel down - look back a few months and celebrate what you have done already

On a mission to repair my credit rating & own my own home
  • Hi, I would love to join the long haulers club please. My DFD for the credit card debt is 5.5 years from now. I have my DFDiary, and I am monitoring my spending, my balances etc as they reduce. I am self employed and doing pretty well in my business in the scheme of things, just would like to do better, and will be able to in both my personal sales and my team building IF I remain positive and focused and do what I need to, that is ongoingly work on my confidence, attitude, self discipline to get the things done that will help me build my business and in turn by doing this I will have more income - as my business grows - to pay off my debts and of course not forgetting my dd, I will be able to have more and more quality time with her.!. My biggest challenges are my tiredness resulting from my disability and my low times in myself both of which effect my ability to get everything done re the business, home, dd and myself. I/m now a single parent you see and feel a huge responsibility to keep things going in all areas for my dd aswell as me.

My mortgage and life cover have gone out today. I will be able to cover my bills next week, just not totally sure how the dates will work out in the week of the 7/9 re my monies coming in as I have two large debt repayments due on the 9th, and my bonus payment from my business will be in my account on the 10th!(My direct debits are monthly, my income from my sales is weekly/twice weekly as I deliver goods, and my bonus from the co with whom I am s/e is 4 weekly you see!) Typical!! So a bit worried about that.

Just can only take a day at a time and review my money daily to ensure I stay within od limits etc etc.

    Thanks for reading.

  • Positive and focussed (175) welcome!

Morning al! Every penny off is a penny closer so just try and focus on that in the tough days. Am being saintly at the moment as work situation is a bit ropey - certainly focusses the mind! Just spent the am on a couple of phone calls and sorting my bill box out - will get some cheap files later.

  • Some good news is that the catalogue bill is down from 28.60 a month to under 14 so going to pay the extra off the mbna cc.

Going to walk kids into town in a bit to save parking and for exercise. Will stop off at the park on the way back so hopefully a NSD unless I get the online shopping done.

Bad news is friend who owes money has been stiffed by work and short paid. Hoping she will get it back via a loan so Ill get something back. I know she feels bad but it not helping me!!

    Welcome P&F

It's ridiculous! Anyway not much on the unsocial hours front but a 935 surplus this month! Would have been a 1000 but I have to renew my nmc membership x x
