Errr ok but just spent a £70 (not really needed but looks better and low maintenance) on the front garden and £30 (needed) on the pool so funds have taken a dent. Just about to do a new four month budget to cover xmas.:j0

I'm just getting ready for winter and spent some paypal proceeds on some lovely thick curtains that came in way under the price I was quoted from the curtain shop which came close to £300 for a sm/med size window! Under £60 for these delivered and can't wait to see what they are like!
Also been prepping a few christmas pressies in the sales to make a start and have planned what I am buying and a budget to stick to. Can't stand the pressure put on us at Christmas so I am sticking to a budget for everyone to what I can afford.
Not much debt busting at the moment as still only just managing to keep head above water just. Still sticking to Grocery Budget for the month to help.

Hi all!! Congratulations HTGDF I hope your day went well & you are enjoying married life. Well going to do our monthly update early as going to be very busy over the next week or two, so won't get much chance to get on here. Our update doesn't make for pretty reading but we do have 3 more paydays before the end of the month, so it isn't as scarey as it looks. We did say when we started planning the wedding that we would have to do our best to keep our debts under control & not add to them and we should just about be back to square one by the end of the month. We did budget the best we could, but to be honest have got a little carried away the last few weeks:o! We have been buying bits & bobs and saying to each other that we're only going to do it once so what the hell! Anyway we have just about paid everything & are really looking forward to The Big Day. Not got much more to say really apart from good luck to everyone & we will be getting our @rses in gear when we get back from honeymoon! Thanks for reading folks and new update is in sig!! Will also update list on how we plan to pay debts off over the next 6 & a bit years!!
