Hello Long Haulers
I've already asked to be a DFW nerd, but since I'm going to be here for around 12 years (at the current amount I'm able to pay off) I think I could do with joining you guys too.....Debt at light bulb moment - £15K

Ill be around for a good while yet. It can be frustrating seeing other peoples debt good down so quick but everynehas their own paths I guess.
Take each day at a time and as long as the figure goes down we will all get there in the end.
Well done on the limited spends this week ISOM temptation is always about so thats serious will power.

Welcome mb....theres your number! We all have different amounts and different circumstances but that doesent matter - what does matter is that we all support each other along the way!
Nothing like uncertainty to focus the mind KP - not that Iwould reccomend it as a DF strategy! So far this week have had 5 NSD's! Not bad eh...actually a miracle in ISOM land...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Late night reporting (or should that be 'first post of the day )
Thanks for those kind words ISOM.
To the newbies: welcome :T. All good people here who are always supportive especially when we have our 'wobble' moments.
Well I got paid yesterday even though officially it's today. I've done my budget for the month and, as per usual, the amount left for me to live on is . I can't complain though as I got a bonus and am using that to fund my weekend trip to Barcelona, in September, to celebrate a friends' 'special' birthday milestone. I had originally planned to use it to reduce one of my cards by 90% but she'd told me about this trip at the beginning of the year - my fault for not saving towards it
Despite that small setback my total debts are slowly going down and I'm now closer to £13000 than I was last month :T I smiled when I saw that amount although I probably won't smile for long once I've worked out the new repayment figures for the cards from October with no 0% cushion :wall:
