yes, going to sell and rent either a bedsit or lodge in someones house...that bit yet to be revealed! Regardless of where I end up it meansI am taking control of things before the choice is taken from me and there will be more to throw at debts. Feels bizzarly quite liberating to get shot of stuff! Will be odd seeing the flat so empty...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

htgdf...dont know if you have yours insured but regardless with food, litter etc they cost well over 100+ a month and much as I dearly love them the basic fact is I can't afford them...simples as they say! Advantage is that I feel 100% motivated now cos at the end of the day loosing house and cats wont kill me plus getting rid of junk is liberating...three boxes today and more to follow tomorrow...and most of it went without a care...few things I will keep but when it comes down to it alot of it has no sentimental value!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Morning my cats are insured touch wood I haven't had any serious dilemmas at present. I understand what you mean it is a costly job but for me it's ok your brave taking the plunge all the best with it. This year I intend to get rid if at least 2 debts before we go away. X x shopping is going well sticking to budget need to do a spending diary although I don't have time to spend on luxuries I feel I am living at work. That should ease up because I start going to study one day a month so it reduces my shifts to 12 instead of 13 yay xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Another lifer here.
Just embarked on a 14 year dmp (debts of 18k). All the phone calls have just started (and getting very annoying), and i must admit to struggling with the spending. First month on a budget that we haven't got the option of using a credit card to pick up the slack at the end of the month. When the money is gone there's no safety net. Scary!
DMP and debts are in OH's name so I have just been answering the phone and telling them he's not in. Which has become boring. So I just told the latest (mbna) that he is not going to answer the phone and it's going to be a waste of time ringing and can they communicate in writing instead. I'll tell all of them this now and see if it makes any difference. If not I'll do the template letter.
Off to do an inventory of the kitchen cupboards now to see how many days worth of meals I can do without having to buy stuff. Should be fun!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0
