Keeping positive directed me this way : I hope/ plan to be debt-free in 2 years, which seems like a lifetime (and £25000 ) away right now , but I'm impressed that some of you have already been sticking at it for that long so hope to pick up a few tips from the experts.

Quiet here. Managing a few more no spend and low spend days than usual and overdraft not looking too bad. I have so far spent the following out of my monthly budgets that run to the 25th

Me : 3 / 50
OH : nil / 50
Kids : 16 + 6 + 4 / 50
Groceries 146/200 :eek:

morning keeping positive im just going to bed had breakfast done my stepper for an hour i may be around this evening keep up the goood work, ive got dentist next week so il be spending then otherwise ive done all my spending for now hehe xx

Good morning!
Just popped in to say Hi as member #135 of the long-haulers.
I've 2 years to go if I stay on the straight and narrow but like diets (still got that 10lbs to lose), my previous efforts have only lasted a week so it seems a very long haul to me at the moment.

OH went off on a trip with work today so some money saved there on food for a few days (I miss him really ). Usually if he pops to the shops for some bread or milk he comes back having spent at least £40 so yesterday I gave strict instructions to ONLY buy one loaf of white bread.To be fair he did, unfortunately it was the £2+ organic one hand made by a some French farmer.

Old habits die hard..

Of course everyone can join the party! and it was the best birthday ever, so much thought and detail in everything i was given and work spoilt me rotten! back to normality with a crash today! lol never mind eh!

Pay day next week so will pay more towards that mill stone.

"Williams" are a bit mundane so i think perhaps............Major General Rock and his army of blunt stones.

Can you tell i am tired?? babbling more rubbish than normal............and certainly more than the local council collect in a fortnight!!!

mmm interesting concept one step...will have a think! What did work do to treat you for your bday? Have realised, somewhat depressingly, that my cc's are higher now than when I started! Time to get cracking and go back to not having it in my purse as its just too tempting...off to remove it now...
