No, it doesn't hurt thank goodness, just a bit of a hole with a jaggedy edge. I'll ring them Monday morning. They were going to stick a crown on in January I think, hopefully they can still do that (also not money saving though!)4

I do sometimes consider taking a bottle of gin and getting the dentist to whip them all out in one go and give me dentures 🙄 clearly I won't... but it sometimes feels like the easier option (and likely cheaper!)
I hate teeth, been nowt but trouble for me over the years 🙄4 -

Argh, teeth! I feel for you both, @Cheery_Daff and @beanielou. I've been relatively lucky after a whole host os dubious 1980s fillings (probably not needed, unlike the dentist's new Volvo). My Mum has genetically fragile teeth, but has held on to most of them, now in her mid-70, it makes a real difference to the face compared to grandparents whose generation had the whole lot removed as 21st birthday or wedding gifts.

Don't worry, I wasn't seriously suggesting having them all ripped out!!! 😮😂😂😂 Of course I will hang on to as many as I can! I think this one fortunately still does have quite a lot of tooth left, so fingers crossed we get to January in one piece (or we get an earlier appointment...). Not had an implant yet - a bone graft sounds painful!
Up early to separate the chickens again before it got too light and they noticed each other 🙄 All safely done now, and I'm curling up under a blanket on the sofa and may well nod back off. .6 -
So. Today didn't go quite as planned...
Separated the chickens, and when we went back out a couple of hours later, noticed one was still in exactly the same place as we'd plonked her... It seems she can stand, but not put weight on one of her legs, so when she tries to walk, she just falls over 🙄
We feared the worst... but had lots of helpful advice from a chicken group I'm part of. Ended up buying a dog crate so we can separate her but still have her out in the run with the others, so she stays part of the flock. Also decided not to chase the other new ones to get them into the hen house, but instead made them a separate hen house in their little separate enclosure.
So somehow all that messing about took the entire day 🙄 Gammy leg hen seems fine in her little cage - more room than she's ever had, food and water without having to stand up, and nobody walking over her 🙄 Will ring the vet tomorrow - was hoping to avoid vet trips this early, but I want to make sure she's not broken anything. Gammy legs are common in caged hens, and I would probably expect a limp, but she can't walk at all. Seems happy enough in herself though, and is eating and drinking, fingers crossed.
Builders are here in the morning, and will apparently be gone by lunchtime, taking all their stuff with them. At this point I don't even care what they don't get round to doing, I just want my house back 🙄
Another early night i think!11 -

I'm sorry that one of the new chooks seems to have problems, hope it's not too expensive to mend!
Here's hoping that the builders go, as planned, tomorrow. It's not difficult!
