I AM a tad put out! Trying to be generous, but they only made the arrangement at 11 and said they'd be here at 1, so I would have thought it would have been clear before 2 that they weren't going to make it!
Hey ho. I don't think they've ever done this to us before, but they've definitely said they're going to turn up to events or parties and not made it before.
Trying not to let the annoyance ruin the day - we now at least have a tidy (well, tidier) house and garden, and we've put all the stuff in the car ready for the tip so that's one less thing to do in the morning 🙄8 -
Good to look on the positives though that is deffo vexing. Wonder how they manage in other areas of life lol 🤔8

Well that's just rude Cheery 😲

Ha, you're all very welcome to pop round for spare cake! 😁
Mr Cheery and I salvaged our sanity by going into town and sitting in the shade outside a cafe drinking tea, him doing the crossword and me plotting and scheming 😁
Got a good plan for tomorrow now.
* early morning tip run (everything is already in the car)
* trip to local market town - to a DIY shop for extension roof fastenings, some fabric for me to make another summery top, a bit of a charity shop trek, and a cafe trip 😁
* home for lunch in the shade, and then an afternoon hopefully getting a couple of roof panels on.
* and I must do a quick clean out of the car, I'm off on an exciting road trip with a friend on Tuesday, and not having had anyone in the car other than Mr Cheery for at least 18 months, the situation is rather dire! 😮10 -
Gosh, I've only been offline for a couple of days, and there's *loads* happening
I'm so glad to read of a few fun trips you've got set up this week - and I include the brain scan thing in that, because of the mug
I think that's wonderful!

So glad to hear you managed to salvage the rest or day and have a good plan set out for today.
