I registered for this a few days ago, and having read the above few posts have deleted the account. Glad I saw this thread now rather than wasting time later.

Just had my first Ciao survey for ages....told it which BRANDS of alcohol I drink how often, where etc. THEN it decided I didn't fit the profile.

I mean really! Imagine if they ask a few hundre people just those questions - thats already plenty of info to use for research/marketing!!

Think I'm just gonna delete my user a/c and be done with.....
  • I have no problem with my Ciao account but have not yet reached the payment threshold as I have only been with them a couple of months. I think valued opinions is a much better deal I have had over £25 punds worth of tesco vouchers in four months.
:A If I could think of a decent signature I would use one :A

£2 coin savers club £44 so far
  • Just requested my first payment (Just over £50) as I have been waiting for it to get to that figure.

My best surveys were a computers (£10 reward), Deoderant (£5 reward and 2 spray samples to test) and chewing gum (£5 reward and free chewing gum).

Just gotta wait for it to hit my account now
  • Hurrraayy! I thought it was just me!!

I have been registered since last year and still have a big fat 0 in my account..

I'm another that got at least 10 mins into the drinks questionnaire before being thrown out.

I have answered every single Email I received from them double quick and been unsuitable for everything.

I don't understand why I'm filling in these profile Qs so they know all about me just to get surveys that they don't actually want me to do!

    I'm fed up with Ciao.

Global Test Market - Have done several - did not fit survey of just one so far
Ciao - hadn't logged into my account for over 3 years  but logged in a few weeks back to find I have £4.75 in the account...

I heard a little while ago that if you complete reviews you get more surveys (be careful though as the people who rate you are VERY critical and fussy) i have since done 8 reviews (only 1 of them actually any good) and i have been getting loads of invitations to surveys worth about £1.50 and more. Now my balance has gone from being about £4.50  to £10.27 :) Don't know how i got the odd pence though  My computer even shut down half way through a survey and i still got paid. I'm a lot less sceptical about ciao now.

  • i have done loads of surveys and i still haven't earned a fiver
  • Anybody else completed a bank survey and still unpaid?

I was told they could not validate my participation at the time, on completion of the survey. I was asked to return to a set page and register my participation. Several attempts later I managed it.

1:70 is still not in my account.

How long does it take to go through?!
