Ciao Surveys

Options
I joined Ciao surveys in January and, at first, got on pretty well with them - I was able to complete 3 surveys in february, then one in March.

But since then, probably the past 15 surveys they've sent me I've been kicked out of half way through, some after about 15 minutes! I am told that they have enough recipients matching my profile, even when I take the survey as soon as the email comes through!

The only survey I've managed to take recently was one witha reward of 50p, conveniently taking my balance to £4.80. Rebates are paid on balances of £5+...

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it just coincidence that I'm stuck just below the rebate threshold, or is this a recurring theme for ciao? I wonder how many people's £4.80's they are holding onto, earning a nice bit of interest...

I also do Caio surveys but don't receive all that many and have experienced the same as you, saying they have enough respondents. Recently I received a payment for around £19 but it took about a couple of months to arrive.

My current balance is around £3 to £4 and I expect it will take a while to increase in value.

    Good luck
  • 6 months now, about 30 surveys, and I've got £1.60!!! Beat that!

this happens to me most of the time, I recon they get all the information they need out of you and then turn round and say they have enough recipients so they can get out of paying you, very dishonest

My partner and I were just discussing this last night as he had a VERY personal survey and after 10minutes they kicked him out saying that they had enough respondents, not even a thank you or here's 25p etc

Yes, I think I did that one. It was asking about how long it took me to ejaculate, or somesuch nonsense!

I've clocked up about £30 on my account, but every time I try to input my bank details, my password keeps getting rejected. Hmmm...

And like other users I've recently found myself being accepted for very few surveys.

    Think I'll jack it in.

But my god, the amount of money they must be making on interest alone....

Grrrr. I feel used and abused by it all...

I had the same survey as the last 2 posts too.

They really do take the p*** with rejecting you after dozens of questions ... they should ask a few screening questions (most of which they should already know the answers to in any case) and THEN tell you not to proceed ... if they insist on asking 100 screening questions, they should make a partial payment.

What get's me, why the repetitive screening questions, such as age, sex etc... Isn't that the point of filling in all the sections in the 'My Ciao > Surveys' section?

Maybe we should make them aware of this thread so they see our dissatisfaction...?

Yes I have had the same problem with the last 3 surveys...seemed to be going ok then suddenly survey ends saying something like you are not suitable for this survey !

I used to get loads of surveys and cash out with at least £5 every month, but recently I've not so much had a problem with the number of surveys or being rejected, but actually getting the darn survey to load in the first place (if you're waiting 30 seconds per page with broadband, then you do tend to lose the will to live...).

Far more impressed with Global test market. I've had 2 nice £30 cheques from them now :)
