Ciao Surveys

I only have £5 in my account and joined ages ago. The surveys seem to have dried up0

As far as I am concerned, the only online surveys worth bothering with are YouGov. They turn up quite regularly. I was signed up with others but was never suitable....very very anger-inducing when you have given them loads of personal info and wasted your valuable time.
I just stick with YouGov. The others are a total waste of time and effort as far as I am concerned.:snow_grin"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow........":snow_grin0 -
I eventually received a £50 cheque from YouGov but it took ages before I received enough surveys to complete to reach the target. At first the surveys came regularly then slowed, slowed, slowed down. It must have taken at least a couple of years before I had done enough. My brother in law is still waiting, he has been stuck at around £45 for months!0

I find that YouGov becomes a lot more busy with surveys at certain times of year. For example I got a lot in the two weeks running up to the election. Guess its just a case of riding it out til you get to £50. Im nearer payment with YouGov than with Ciao and ive been with Ciao a lot longer. Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0

The other one that gets me is Mutual Points, they sent me loads of emails with 5point links when I first signed up with them and they stopped when I got to over 2000points. But, my partner who has about 1000points is still getting the 5point link emails which means they are selective about who they send them too and we all know the criteria they are working under when they choose who to send to, don't we!"And crawling on the planet's face,

I try these most of the time, but if you think about it, they are paying people a decent amount of money for their oppinion on products etc etc And our oppinion is what they Do need!!!
And then you have these particular sites that offer you peanuts if That!!! for answering a 30min survey
We are the consumers and they need feedback from consumers, if you were to look hard enough you will come across some proper oppinion paying sites that offer you more
Try a search engine
!! It would be good to for a Mod to set up a 'Hunt for Genuine Oppinion Paying Sites' !!
So if there is a Mod reading this, Could this be possible as there are people paying to recieve surveys for cash!! ??*Wanna Make Loads Of Money*
*I'll Let U know When I Do*
NOT RICH YET.....
No still havnt made it Yet !! (Nov '05)

I've been reading this post with interest as I am registered with both YouGov and Ciao.
I've just withdrawn my full balance from Ciao (a little over £11) so will see how long that takes to come. However like other posts on here I am getting a little tired of spending ages on a survey only then to be told I am not eligible.
YouGov has stopped entirely, I got to about £32 in a couple of years but in the past 6 months or so all I have got is prize surveys, no cash added to my balance. I did query this with them and then got one paid one about the election, but that's it. Assuming I ever reach my £50, and I rather suspect I won't, I will cash in and close my account.

I find the best survey company to be with is the National Family Consumer Club. I have been with them for a few of years and they always pay up (in the form of High Street Vouchers) promptly. Sometimes you even get to try new products for them . The last one I had of these were two generous sample bottles of anti-dandruff shampoo.
The survey I am doing for them at the moment is to keep a diary for two months, logging every time I use my printer. For this they have sent a £2 voucher up front, with another £5 to follow on completion of the diary. Other surveys are carried out on-line, similar to the Ciao ones.
As an added bonus they even send me a birthday and Christmas card !What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Hi Trisontana
