Wow good effort on the day KC :T And 98.5% is fab for a qualifier. I've been aiming for 95% lately, getting far too lazy about things. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Hi Taxi! Yep, I was pleased with that list - the only thing I didn't do was mending the thingy that goes in the hallway, but I've got the things ready to do it, and I can do it this morning sitting at the computer. I know what you mean about the state of the house. It doesn't *quite* look as dilapidated as it is, thank heavens, but it definitely needs some proper investment.
Hi Gemmzie! That was dead good, wasn't it! I usually go for 95% myself, and am pleased with that, but this one just fell into my lap, on Chelsea of all things. And the lay amount available to matched bet kept going up, whereas usually its only just enough. Haven't checked this morning yet, but they replied twice to my emails, and extended the deadline voluntarily, so I'm pretty confident everything will be kosher.
Today, I need to go forward on funding my new moneybookers account, thats the main dfw thing, and there's lots of stuff like the above. If I can see that its going to be helpful again, I'll post another list halfway through!
Hope everyone has a good day.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hi ISOM! Sorry you're back to work today. I hadn't been away for ages when I had time off, apart from going to see my mum, so this trip away was fantastic, so I know what you mean.
The numbers thing - if you evolve a good system, sometimes it doesn't work, but most of the time it does - like a casino owner always winning off the punters in the end. blah blah bah. I'll shut up!
I got myself into a right old state yesterday, just rushing around trying to do too much, so I pulled back a bit, read some of the Northern Lights trilogy, but still managed to fall asleep in front of the tv. Today, its a mystery shop, client work and some admin. I just decluttered a quilt (I threw it away, I confess. I'd have been perfectly willing to give it away on freecycle, but it had two years worth of dust on it, and I'm pretty sure it will have had some spider eggs in there too. Not nice. So its gone to quilt heaven), and lots of videos. I have a few left, personal ones filmed by friends - the one of my cats, I'll get transferred to a DVD so I can play it sometimes.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

 Hi Duchy! Thanks for the welcome - how are you?
I've had a better day today - did a mystery shop in the morning, had quite a bit of paid work in the afternoon, then did the inputting for the shop, a fair bit of admin, and since then I've been sitting on here, oops! Oh, I know, I repotted a nice little succulent thats been slowly dying in its pot, poor thing. Hopefully, I'll plant it properly in a couple of months or so.
Good grief, what a boring day!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I'm recovering nicely from yesterday's gruesome discovery.
Dishwasher man came and discovered why it wasn't working-large rodent (hopefully HUGE mouse and not small rat but neither of us wanted to examine it too closely) had fried itself on the DW motor. Ewwwwwwww. Got myself into a right state over that and had to log onto work 15 mins later-was in such a dither I managed to disconnect myself from the work phone system and couldn't get back on. Sorted it out but was late for work-which is a bit silly when I work from home !!
Off to London for breakfast and lunch tomorrow with a good friend who lives in Cumbria so that'll be nice. Trying to save hard for our July holiday but it's hard work at the moment. Think I need to spend more time on OS or be really brave and look at MB again..... and see if I can make sense of it (I suspect the explanations are worse than the doing but it still scares me.

   Fried mouse/rat in the washing machine parts!!! I think you deserve a London trip! Hope you enjoy it, you need something to take the taste of that away....
The guy who built my porch is hopefully coming round on Friday to instal some desparately needed new plumbing, I don't *think* I'm going to wake up to a flood of sewage one morning, but life is a little uncertain right now. Ahem.
And I have a cold!I'm really doubtful about the dfw meet in London on Saturday now,
and I was supposed to be going up the next day as well to watch the Olympic flame arrive in London for this year's Olympics. Never seen anything like that, so I really wanted to go. Not even sure if I'll manage work on Friday, its all up for grabs. I'm not really managing to do anything today, except the washing up and the work I had booked.
Ah well. Worse things happen at sea.....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Sorry you're not well KC, I hope you have a speedy recovery - don't try to do too much, the more you rest the quicker you will get better. x"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Karma, what bad luck to get a cold now, it always seems extra cruel to get ill when spring is almost here. Rest up and don't do anything strenuous til you have your strength back.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
