Right, the tree lights are on, and they work. I might get this done even yet....:rotfl:

Edited at 10.07: okay, the stuff that goes around the base of the tree is on, as is the star.... have had a break to get ready for session, need to finish that off, then will put dangly starry bits on until client arrives....

Client has arrived, & I've just finished putting up existing dangly things (new ones bought last yearstill in packet, will wait & see if I can do those)...

Thanks Snaggles! My birthday was nice, just got an extra little pressie from my friend visiting. And I finished my tree in time, just as she turned up. Duchy, is yours up yet?

Very lucky that Snaggles is the one I'm chatting with on my diary right now, as I've just received an email from my beloved cousin in New Jersey about a video on autism, and aspergers is on the autism spectrum, so.....

The band Five for Fighting is generously donating 40 cents to Autism Speaks each time the video (link below) is viewed. The money funds research studies aimed at finding a cure. When you have a moment--I know everyone is very busy--please visit the link below to watch the video and pass it along to your friends and family. They are aiming for 10,000 hits, but hopefully we can help them to surpass this goal.

There are quite a few UK links playing alongside the video, and its very beautiful in its own right, as well as being a moneyspinner for a charity. Since its a charity link, I'm fairly sure its allowable in terms of mse.
