Its true, snickers bars are terribly healthy! I did get out for my walk, midday-ish, lovely and sunny.

I also saw a woodstack a neighbour has, knocked on the door, and they have an open fire, so I can give them the little stash of coke/barbecue fuel I have - god only knows when I bought it, but its there - I *really* don't want to just chuck it away, and its not enough to give away on freecycle.

I did postpone the health check, pleased at that.

Today, the main priority is that I have an hour of paid work. The other thing I'd really like to achieve today is to collate all the information for the French accounts, send off an email to the French accountants (I can do that in English, bless them) and print out everything to send off.

That'll be a lot actually, so thats enough. Especially as I now have a cold, hi ho.

Just going to hop off and see whats happening on people's diaries.

Thanks KP! I do love that choccy bunny. When I stayed with my friend in Aachen last year (courtesy of a Eurostar ticket bought with Clubcard points :rotfl: ) I bought a mug with the Lindt bunny printed on it in gold all the way round.

I've given up giving up chocolate. Love it. Love it :EasterBun

 Surprised I'm not prostrate.... trapped by a points failure on a train coming home. In fact, I was trapped for so long, the points failure was fixed. Got home at half past midnight, having had to walk from the local station in a deep frost - no way I'd trust to getting a taxi straight away at the main station, the train was heaving, no buses cos it was too late.

Off now to finally make an overpayment to the mortgage, and get my hair cut - I've cut my fringe about 4 times, its all getting a bit out of control :rotfl:

    Good to see you KC
Having a carp week here too but back on the onwards and upwards trail now.
Like you it takes a LOT for me to post that things are bad -just not my way (and I'm only posting about it now I'm back in control :) ) but did ac tually slip up on facebook and whine. The extraordinary thing was an encouraging message from a chap I was was married to 20+ years ago (and not seen since) telling me I had always known how to bounce back-guess I've not changed much LOL
So entired education system is on the way to been conquered, wobbly money bits -slightly steadied -all I need to do now is find something cheaper than £50 to get two of us down to Hastings this coming week (National doesn't work timewise) Pity I missed out on the sun 2 for 1 rail offer the other week-ah well that'll teach me to read ALL the fora I suppose.
Big dodgy hugs to you KC

I need a haircut too and as DS has paid rent may well be able to afford it.

You're my long lost twin, aren't you?

    Oh my word!

(and not seen since) telling me I had always known how to bounce back-guess I've not changed much LOL

I don't know *how* I'd feel if an ex of that previous closeness and distance combined turned up on facebook! As it is, it makes me wonder who else is watching from a distance - okay, I confess, I'm paranoid.

You need to find a train? Or a plane? I think of you as being extremely knowledgeable about travelling, Duchy. Megabus? I can't remember where you are geographically, sorry.

Big dodgy hugs to you KC

Sorry you've had it bad too - it seemed to be happening all over, maybe we got a big dose of sunspots or something .... seems very odd, looking back. I've taken a long hard look at some things, and realised I either have to pull my finger out very soon, or do some drastic rejigging of my work and home, only *part* of which is selling the house.

It sounds like half term you're getting away for, is that right? Anyway, hope you *do* manage to get away, we really need it this time of year.

    Many and dodgy hugs!

Naughty! Cynical :rotfl: no clue, to be honest. I've had a think and I'm going to assume it was an early Rag Day prank, and a student was tied to the line :rotfl:

I need a haircut too and as DS has paid rent may well be able to afford it.

Hurray! I was a good dfw - went to a new place offering work for £9 - but they meant £9 per item, and a cut and blow dry was £18. So I walked out (nicely) and went to another branch of my old place - cut and blow dry is £12. Good cutters too.

Have a good evening, sweetie (yes you are sweet, don't pretend you're not, you know you are :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Just a quick note on the last 24 hours: I went barmy late last night, in a very dfw sort of way.

    - went through quidco and joined minxy bingo. £20 cashback if it comes, and a £42 win, which you have to walk over hot coals to get.
    - realised I had a free bet offer from vcbet, it was up to £100 freebie, but that would've meant betting £1000, so I bet £200, should have a £20 free bet coming.

Today, I've quite enjoyed myself, fiddling about with this that and the other. DFW stuff:
    - feel a real miser about this one, but there's a charge of 72p on my bill at Tesco's yesterday, and I don't know what it is - so I phoned, and they said to take the receipt in to the store next week.
    - transferring money around to take account of bills to come.
    - Oh! I made a £500 overpayment on the mortgage yesterday, from dfw money!
    - I'm slowly printing out the stuff to send to my French accountant - yes its *still* going on. Sorry! I'm going to feel so good when I send it off tomorrow. Incidentally - my black ink cartridge has been showing "almost out of ink" for months - its a great wheeze to get people to buy either earlier or chucking out cartridges that have plenty of life left. Sneaky.
    - did the scratches - I'll be able to withdraw a tenner from takeabreak tomorrow.
    - posted a few bits on bingoport - ten posts a day is the new rule apparently, still, I don't do it regularly, but ten is an okay number.

Thats about it. Had a nice walk round the block, stroked a few dogs, no cats visible today, boo hiss.
