Bob, thats beautiful. Thank you. I *am* coming through - I've needed to just hang back today, do hardly anything. I'm getting stronger, I probably need tomorrow to exercise a bit, use my muscles - that'll make me feel better. Living for today and making sure that most of what I do also fits in to the plan that'll come to fruition in a couple of years time. I got a lot of help from my friend I saw yesterday, about that in particular, and am getting lots of lovely vibes from people on here.
Thank you again.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning all.
Oops - I woke up with a dehydration headache today, that was silly - could easily have been avoided, so I've been drinking lots of water this morning already. Feel a bit better in general, thankfully, but still not doing anything except the very basics - work, and try to do the washing up enough so I can cook some stuff sometimes. Thats it!
I'm finishing work at 4.30, so I'll go for a bit of a walk then, that'll help with the general situation.
See you later.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
One step at a time and you will be fine. A walk is a good idea, freshens your head and helps a lot i find.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Yep the basics are all that need to be done.. don't worry about anything else. Hope you enjoy the walk xxDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Ah, possibly this is my problem. I walked as far as the off licence for a snickers bar.... it was a very *nice* snickers bar tho
I've been looking through a file in my desk, chucking paper. And thats my new mantra: do things that are good to do now (clearing space in my desk) and good for moving on (less clutter - easier to clean, easier to present for sellers, less to pack and bring to whatever new place I move to). Win win.
Just time to mooch around on here and look at what people are doing .... hugs to all :grouphug:

Aw KC, poor you. Sorry I've been waffling on about holidays without even realising that you were having a bit of a grey weekend. Here, have a less-dodgy-but-with-a-bit-of-mutual-nose-picking hug from me...
Sending lots of virtual Snickers your way.
And glasses of overnight water too. No more reports of dehydration please!

Sory to hear youve been down KC (((hugs))). We are all hear for you, you have been such support to me and others on here .
You have been really strong to still work and call your Mum without letting on. The coping strategy sounds good so hoping you stay out the hole for a good while.:j0 -
Hi folks .... things are slowly turning upwards again .... that smiley *does* look like there's nose-picking going on! :rotfl:
Work is good - it helps me ignore how sick I feel, which is a by-product of the whole trauma thing, my stomach always gets affected by this. And of course I'm self employed - I don't work, I don't get paid, boom boom.
Water and snickers bars .... the stuff of life.
Today, I'm postponing a checkup thing that was supposed to be for tomorrow - I *will* go out for a walk during the day, I realise I didn't yesterday because it was towards the end of the sunshine, and it was very cold, it would have set my shingles thing off again. So I'm good, just taking it slow, not even trying to get back into the swing of things till next week.
Hope everyone has a good day. Thanks for checking up on me :A2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
