Didn't do any trading yesterday morning after all  its not the fear now, its the focus.

And you're sure that's not the fear under another guise?

And also set my (watch) alarm every 15 minutes to get me to check what's going on - I'll lose some of the 5 minute signals, but the 15 minute signals are larger than my projected 20 points a day target, so that just doesn't matter in the greater scheme of things.

Get one of those electronic kitchen timers. They are easier to set and just to let run.

Thank heavens the Nationwide have agreed to drop the collar on their tracker rates - even with the drop in my income *recently* that means I'm still just about breaking even. Just.

Oh? Is the credit crunch affecting you too?

Thats possible, but I don't think so, not this time. I have a "busy busy" thing going on, always have, thats why I've never meditated regularly, altho so many of my interests point in that direction.

I may well do, but at least the watch is on my wrist, and I'll hear it wherever I am, cos it'll be with me.

You NLP-er you! Thats the sort of thing I say to people! No, you're right, I was thinking about this on one of my tube trips today in London. I don't *enjoy* matched betting, the way I enjoy the charts for trading.
Oh? Is the credit crunch affecting you too?

No (well, a bit of course). Its been going down for a long time now, and neither me nor my partner are making any new efforts at bringing in new work; complicated, and not really appropriate for this forum, but we've done enough, basically. Plus the fashion in therapy for the last ten years or so has been comparatively quick fix stuff, and what I do is not that. Again, long story.

    Moooorrning. Yawn ......

Well, a quiet day today, thank heavens. Its still *really* frosty out there, I've got the central heating on background and the gas fire on (the living room has a big window, and it has one radiator 30 years old or so, thats maybe two and a half feet long, so I need the gas fire until I get a greenhouse effect going with the window).

Today, I've done the little clicks - TAB, my other scratchcard, the ipoints guess the site, blah blah. Checked on a few diaries too! Otherwise:

    - cleaning the living room, on and off, so I can start looking forward to the Christmas period.
    - out in the garden - branches to saw, leaves to gather, I don't think any digging today, not with the frost this bad.
    - cooking! Yes please, I'd like to cook, if thats okay with the gods of the kitchen. Spreading warmth in the house, all that sort of thing. Which reminds me, I haven't actually had my full breakfast. Off to munch things. Have a good one, all. xx

Oh my word, Z, I've just seen your avatar for the first time

Been trying to do one for me - there's an image I love, of a cat sleeping on a tractor, but it doesn't come over as an avatar properly.

    ... off to play again.....

    EDIT: there we go!

It was a reaction to something I read. I thought it was very appropriate... ;)

But does that mean to say you haven't seen any of the others?

    Err...no it wouldn't...

Monday: Woke up, got ready, went to work, came back home, fell asleep.
Tuesday: Woke up, got ready, went to work, acted like a prima donna, came back home, fell asleep.
Wednesday: Woke up, went to work, got sent back home for clothes, fell asleep.

    etc...

    Aw, thanks El!

Tho I confess, my plans for today have gone completely out the window so far, cos of playing with avatars. I like that stuff, and I have to relax *sometimes* - even Hypno is out at the footie right now! My lunch is cooking right now, anyway.

Yep. I knew Hypno's, cos of doing qype, and she's said she's got the same one on here, but thats all. I'm in for a treat, I hope. Oh, and I've seen Gemmzie's properly ( *what* does that sound like :rotfl: ) cos we've been in contact about quidco....

Do I dare ask where your avatar comes from, Z? yes I do - where does it come from? :D:o

EDIT: I would dearly love to see Z's diary!

I probably just pulled it off google images, like all the rest. A little resize and crop - and there we are...
