Karmacat: I'm passionate about my DFW journey to riches

Definitely Bob - this one isn't in a vanity case but it's basically an overpriced ball of wool and knitting needles. They have thrown in a few extras like a little felt heart that goes inside your monkey!
I remember knitting with my mum too. I'm ashamed to say I haven't done very much of it with my own daughters.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Sob ... I was away from dfw for the whole day - thats unusual for me - and there was a whole riff on knitting! Ah well.....
Mizmir - has somebody filled you in on qype by now? its a website, there was a whole thing about writing 50 reviews and getting £50 of amazon vouchers, plus some unspecified goodies and a shuffle ipod. The promotions have finished now, I think, but they're probably going to have more in the New Year. I blasted out the reviews in about 2 days, just got addicted - thats most of the money I'm paying for the microwave, others are from similar but less.
Today has been okay - I did a few bits on qype, had a meeting with my business partner, caught up on some important admin for work, thats about it really, not much space for dfw today, let alone knitting!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks karma - will keep an eye out for that in the new year!0

Feeling a bit  I've been checking Waitrose and Tesco delivery slots around my mum's each day now, and its been getting closer and closer to the day I want. Waitrose went ages ago, but Tesco seemed to have slots available, so I got up at 6am today and .... gone. People must have stayed up late. I wanted a slot for December 23rd! Well, I'll stay up late tonight, and try again for early Christmas Eve. I've booked for the 22nd just in case, but I won't be there by then, and my mum is worried about having a delivery, she's never had one before. I'm trying to save us both effort in stocking up and its just
Ah well.
Today, I've got 4 pieces of work to dothats what it used to be like! Four a day. So I'll be hopping on and off here all day.
I've ordered my M&S vouchers for £30 that cost £10, via ipoints and bingo etc, so I'm happy with that. Got to do scratchies and clicks and sort my train ticket now. Hope everyone has a good day.
Coming soon - writing Christmas cards, and knitting for Christmas :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Morning :hello: That's annoying about the deliveries, I guess a lot of people are going for that rather than fighting their way round the shops.
Have a good day!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
How frustrating about the deliveries. Good luck with the work - four things is great!0

 Hello! Yep, I think the deliveries must be popular. My mum used to like going out and shopping, especially with one of us with her, but she gets so tired now, I don't think she wants to spend her energy like that. And unless its once in a blue moon, I'm not keen either, never have been.
So we'll see. I don't have any sessions tomorrow, so as long as I have time available to trade, I'm very flexible. And I *must* sort out this partybets ice hockey shenanigans, or they'll take another £4 off me for a dormant account.
Right, going to try to buy my train ticket home (again - I was strongly requested to cancel the first lot by Her Up North, but I now have to buy *exactly* the same ticket again. Oh, the wonders of family2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Families - don't you love them on occasions! Sorry to hear about the problems with the deliveries, this is one time I am glad we would have to go to the shop! Mind you we don't even know where we will be for Christmas yet, a lot depends on whether or not Dr Dragon is working.Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi Dragon, how are you?
You don't know where you are for Christmas yet  you're a stronger woman than I am! Actually, we have the family get together on Boxing Day, and I've no idea how/if thats happening. It'll be a *really* quiet Christmas without that. I may put another bottle of wine in that order
I know I go on about my mum a lotbut she's elderly, and I worry
The delivery - well, it won't be the worst thing in the world to have to go to the local Waitrose on foot, I'll get a taxi back .... I'd rather not, thats all.
Just done my 4th hour, one more to go early this evening, and I managed to buy my train ticket online. Off to post the Amazon parcel now, then a cuppa tea while I browse the threads. And possibly a marathon/snickers bar for later!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
