And a pack of long straws so we don't need to get up off sunbed.
I've taken care of suntan application by packing George Clooney for that duty.
I've already booked most of my leave for next year, can you let me know the dates so I can start painting spots on or invent a cough a few days beforehand
Hmm how about Orlando Bloom in his Legolas incarnation?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

This trip is going to be lovely!
btw, for the diary's sake I'm just copying what I posted from the November challenge:...I just withdrew £11.50 from butlins today to add to my total ... I also was able to add in £43.03 just received from Retail Eyes, t/f over to my overpayments account. Thats just hit £200 this month, so I coloured in 3 squares this morning, and- ta-da! -I've made my November target, total now stands at £317.78 - off to amend sig now.
So I'm happy about that. :j
Painfully, tho, *still* not energetic enough to go back to the trading. Perfect signal this morning at 9.30 that would've made me 30 points, but I just wasn't paying attention - I was opening my post. Bah!
Oh well, other things are still paying out, and I *really* enjoyed colouring in those squaresMine stand for £25, and counting Butlins the acutal dosh in hand is £200.97, so 40% of the way to my next overpayment, in one month, and I have a little amazon payment to come. Mystery shopping seems to have dried up for me, so I might be forced to resort to listing magazines, urk. I think I'm losing the will to live :rotfl:

Sounds like you are hitting targets karma which is the key thing. You've reminded me I haven't coloured in my squares for ages
- think I will have start a new one as I have no idea where I was up to.
Oh dear. Tell me I must not go AWOL again.0 -
 You mustn't!
The squares thing took me a couple of tries to get right - and in the meantime I did a £500 overpayment, so it *did* take a while, but its worth it now, Its just a page of excel, but all the borders are outlined, and every hundred pound mark is printed - 100, 200 etc - right up to 10,000, which is what I need to start the structural work that will hopefully transform this house.
Don't go AWOL! :rotfl: :grouphug:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well, I've joined the £20k by Christmas 09 challenge thread .... thats it now. I've been faffing quite a lot in the second half of this week. I'll have to stop that. The one last year, I counted regular payments and my mortgage overpayments, got to just over £8.5k, not bad, but could do better. Aim to! Got to go now for the day, hope everyone has a good one - warm, dry, and moneymaking!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Well! Things are looking up! I went to the local village today, checking out a few shops, and literally collected a couple of menus from the Harvester to do a qype review (I asked first!) got back and found an email in my inbox from *Thursday* saying I had my voucher. Why didn't I see it? No clue.
Hopped over to Amazon, of course, I was loading the shopping basket up, and realised they sell other things than books and DVDs. Hmmm.... I could buy a microwave. I've never owned one, but I use one when I stay at my mum's, or go to my sister's. And they mean a lot less power consumed, not only in quicker cooking times, but this whole thing of warming an oven up - I mean, how long does an oven take to get warm? I've no idea - and I've no idea how to tell either, especially with my very old, bog standard oven.
So, I've got that £50, I've got another £20 in vouchers, I can get another tenner or so ... that should give me enough choice, the cheapest Panasonic combi is £60. Does anybody have any particular experience or advice with this stuff?
Or I could just buy a Laser Scanning Hair Remover for £170.... _pale_2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Coo, I don't usually leave such a big gap in my diary these days ... (big? wot?). Anyway, I *was* doing some stuff over the weekend: bingoport work, some decluttering, printing a m/shop to do today, and best of all - I did some gardening! Not much, just clearing away rubbish and cutting back a shrub that was blocking my access to a wall (I've learned from experience that thats A Bad Thing). But I was pleased. Oh, and I am going to go for the microwave! Less energy used, less time used, its got to be A Good Thing. And I also have enough vouchers to pay for it all bar about a tenner, maybe, whereas the laser thingy - well, I'd love to, but I'd have to fork out almost another £100, and that simply isn't going to happen.
Today, I have that mystery shop, I'd like to do a little bit in the garden again this morning, and I have to post an amazon sale I just made.
Trouble is, I was out last night, and tho I got to bed at a reasonable hour considering (just past midnight) I wasn't focussing on the trading, *and* my IE froze, so I missed out on two trades. £80 less rich right now, b*gger. Gets to be very repetitive, n'est-ce pas? I'm off to do the dishes instead, give my eyes a rest.
PS - going out last night, I got a lift there, as I always do, and I took a bottle of wine I had from the wine shop m/shop, so the whole night was free - the wine wasn't great, but it wasn't awful either.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
have a good day karma - shame about the trading but at least it is money you don't have rather than money you have lost! (trying to see the bright side!

Glad to hear things are going well, shame about the trading but I guess it's still a learning process about the things that can stand in the way of it as well as the best ways to go about it.
