Hi Karmacat,
Well done on 100 pages
I hope that you do get some time out in the garden. DS wanted to go out and play in the snow but it's mainly ice here now and it's melting.
Hope you got to see your client okay.0 -
Phew sounds like a busy day and you have done loads in the past few days.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

It is kind of busy - not too bad, not like "the old days" when it was up to six contact hours a day, every day, but still... little bit more accountancy adding up, to settle my meal, then I *will* do ten minutes in the garden.
Hope everyone has a good afternoon.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Yawn ..... I wish I could stay asleep longer overnight, but here I am, having been up well over an hour already.....
Evening was normal boring: phone call to my mum checking up on her, taping Martin in IPTW to watch out of schedule, taped episode of Stargate Atlantis with my hero on, then mucking about on the computer and finding a few stray receipts for the accounts - I think I might actually do it, you know, I might do the accounts so that they don't disturb Christmas! Oh, and for the icing on the cake, I *did* get out into the garden, just 20 minutes clearing up, but it was lovely and sunny, felt really nice.
Felt tired but very bouncy yesterday evening - I've scraped by with the weekly minimum I need to get by, and apart from a few very easy hours in London on Friday, I'm not working till Monday afternoon! It feels like my very own half term, which is great.
So, today:
- more accounts.
- two matched bets - use up the freebie I've already done the qualifier for, and open up a euro matched bet. I need to get my a*se in gear, most definitely.
- go into town! Just little bits and bobs, want to go out and have a little play.
- watch the trading, the timing is good.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning Karmacat,
Sorry that you are so tired this morning, hope it doesn't get to you later on in the day.
Hope that you manage your list okay today, it looks very do-able.
Catch you later,
Tea

Thanks Tea! I'm fine at the mo, but I expect to be flagging by about 11am, which is ridiculously early! I like my list today, except that I've been avoiding matched betting, and I *have* to get back into it, there's so much money there for the taking. Looking forward to going into town tho.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Karmacat,
our paths have crossed a few times on Tea's thread but I though it was about time I hovered on yours
.
Not sure whether you know this but shredded paper can be composted if you have a compost bin. My local council recently sent round a leaflet of all the stuff that can go in the composter & I was really chuffed to find out about the shredded paper - cant get much more secure than that eh
, also the cardboard from loo rolls, egg boxes & cereal packets can go in too.
Have a good day

Squizz - I didn't see you there! Hi!
Bob - shwing a ding ding, I like it! A little more of sensitive Daniel would have been nice, but then, he was confronting people about the deaths of millions of people, so ..... to confess, most of my evenings are boring like that! Nice enough, but money to go out is still money - even if its bus fare and an evening class, thats a quarter of my weekly money. Ah well, I must find another dance class, thats all there is to it.
Lula - hi! welcome, thanks for stopping by. As far as composting goes.... my garden is *drowning* in compost that won't actually compost, I'm afraid
it must be the way I get it into the bins. I have *two* bins, full of stuff that won't compost, and the spiders that live in them are enormous. Even in this dreadful summer we've had, the webs over the top of the open bin (and I know it shouldn't be open) were so thick you couldn't see through them, I'm not kidding, it was horrible  . Scary, in fact! There's also stacks and stacks of branches that are impossible to compost - they're not woody material, they're plain wood. I reckon getting shut of what I can to the recycling is a good alternative - I've been working on the garden again recently, and if I keep it up over this autumn, then come spring I should be able to start my own composting again. Here's hoping.
Are you a greenfingered mse? You sound like it, so I'll be asking for tips - I *mean* to be greenfingered, but like with not composting nowadays, I can't quite get it.
Anyway, off now to the next element of my master plan
