£1000! Thats really, really good.... its true, in the bigger scheme of things, we're still miles better off.
And the water bill - thats true too, it will pay for itself within a year, if the costings I've read about are correct. Its win-win really: either I need the work done, in which case the house electrics are safer and I'll save money from next year, or I don't need the work done, I know I'm safer, and I can start saving money within the next couple of months!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Wow! I'm a bit relieved right now. Just been to check the matched bet I did yesterday - no reason to think I'd got it wrong, just that it was very high odds so hundreds of pounds hanging on getting it right. Fortunately I did, and I got a total return of £22.14 - there was a slight arb on the qualifier, so I only lost 53p, and then these odds for the SNR were humongous (21/21!!!!!) - thats why they were so scary! - so I made £22.14 net from this! I'm dead chuffed to get a return of 88% from an SNR freebie!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Well done - that's brilliant!
Any plans for today?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Thanks! I'd just been thinking about plans. No trading this morning, cos of the Bank Holiday, tho I will do the Dow this afternoon. So plans today:
- put dried washing away (what do you mean, iron it first?)
- empty floor of airing cupboard so the builder can look at the leak on Wednesday.
- quick vac of bedroom floor, cos of said builder having to walk through
- keep an eye on the trading from 1.30pm this afternoon.
- clean the bathroom (as I said on your thread, its a bit grotty, not very nice to be in there right now).
- baking! I started munching on the cooking chocolate I bought the other day, and thats no good - if I bake, it will be healthy! And cheaper!
- EDIT - surveys too, I didn't finish them all last night. Am in middle of, too!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Iron? What is this 'iron' of which you speak?
:rotfl:
Have a good day... mmm yum bakingDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Tee hee.... not got round to the baking yet, am still churning my way through the surveys - I clicked on an email sent on the 18th, and the survey was still valid. Just checked with Valued Opinions, and I had £12 in there!!! So I claimed a £10 Amazon voucher. Excellent - August total is now as follows:
81.00 previously listed
22.14 Stan James
10.00 Valued Ops = £113.14
Thank heavens for small mercies.
QUERY: anybody else noticed a weird login at tns? In fact, I can't, they've got spaces for username and password, but nowhere that *works*, to click to enter..... ????2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Wow all this money making going on..i can't believe those totals from quidco, i have only made £220 through them!
Brill news on the surveys KC..you so deserve those vouchers....on some of them i keep being told part way that i am not eligible to take part in the survey..i was well over half way through the other day as well..do you get this? And do you still get points for a part completion?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Yep, I'm at around that too - KM and Hypno have really been going at it. I think it takes time to do everything....Brill news on the surveys KC..you so deserve those vouchers...
Thanks! Some are fun and some .... aren't :rotfl: but I persevere.on some of them i keep being told part way that i am not eligible to take part in the survey..i was well over half way through the other day as well..do you get this? And do you still get points for a part completion?
Oh definitely that *has* happened to me, tho not for a while - I remember somebody put a compaint in about that a while back, it is a bit much. Ciao have sharpened their act up on that tho - I get screened out after they've checked its me, sometimes  or after 3 questions at most, thats fair enough. I just delete their 10p things tho.
What's concerning me about the surveys I've done is that some of them have really duff websites, I suspect they're taking advantage. As I was going through my emails (and I went through dozens) the only ones I've had actual money/real vouchers from are Valued Opinions, lightspeed and ciao. I *think* tns, toluna and ipoints are legit, not sure about Zoom, ipsos and Harris - but I haven't had rewards from any of them (I'm a bit slow sometimes!) so can't vouch for them.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I haven't signed up to them all! I got screened out after inital checks as well..still it all helps doesn't it. That's what i keep telling myself anyway.......Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Ipsos have a really rubbish website but they are genuine, I've had quite a few vouchers from them, although they are a bit slow to deliver. Have had some from ToLuna as well, and iPoints. Zoom, I think they only offer 'gifts' rather than cash or vouchers don't they? Gave up on them anyway!
Home of Research are worth a go, although I had to chase them up for a focus group I did earlier this year, they generally do pay out ok.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
