I love Barcelona, but it is one busy city......i too have a list must get cracking instead of reading on here!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
It *is* busy, isn't it, Bob - I'd live in a quiet bit somewhere, if I did move there - after all these years living in the suburbs, I need my peace and quiet!
Right here's my list for today updated:
- research electrical earthing and the immersion heater
- euro matched bet, hurray. money's been credited @ b24, they do things *rse about face! Not much going on till Saturday, so loads of time now to place the bets.
- quick vac of bedroom floor
- clean the bathroom - thats a slow job, cos a big one, thats okay.
- and this afternoon I *will* be working the trading - tho the Dow may well be quiet, it was such a big day yesterday.... am doing, and just as I thought its really slow, and stuck in a tiny range someone of my experience simply isn't equipped to deal with.
I'm also working through the Tesco threads, FINALLY, and have just sent off for the application form for a clubcard plus, using an 0800 number, hurray. And mysupermarket.co.uk proved that Tesco is the cheapest for me round here.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Buenas tardes! I've never been to Barcelona but everyone I know who has, loved it.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Buenas tardes! Barcelona is like Liverpool with sun, believe it or not - a port, isolated from its hinterland, with a great football team and fantastic architecture!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I've never been to Liverpool either!
I really want to go to Spain - NOW - but probably can't afford it till the new year.. and my usual travelling companion is having a bit of a freak out about flying because of the recent accidents.
Anyway, how's your afternoon been, did you get all the cleaning done?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
You have to go! The most concentrated collection of listed buildings outside of London! I understand your friend's freakout - 3 in one week is pushing it against the law of averages.
Had to have a bit of down time this afternoon - I realised the reason I feel like I've wasted time sometimes is that I push too long and don't want to do anything - like, I'm working from now till 9.30 at my proper job, so I *needed* some downtime now, watched a film I'd taped last night.
Done about a third of the cleaningbut I *have* managed to send my new sister in law her birthday card, that has to count for something. Still struggling to understand bet24, I think they have ... never mind, its double dutch to me, it'll be double dutch to everyone else. Suffice to say, my little brain is still whirring! I'll catch up with you on your thread later - have a good evening!

Be very careful of people snatching stuff in Barcelona, lots of muggings unfortunately. It's meant to be beautiful though, Ryanair fly there on the cheap (though after today!)No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Oh! Not good.... like any big city, I suppose.... ah well. And ***bleep*** to Ryanair. I loathe the CEO, it would have to be a cold day in hell for me to use Ryanair. Thanks for the tip tho!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
