Thanks folks! I feel really sure that if I can use that £100 to learn to cope with entering trades and waiting them through to the exit signal, then the sky is the limit. Actually, I want more than that - I want to earn that £100,000 it will take to get a seat on Richard Branson's new plane.

I do deal with some odd things, don't I? :o ..... trading .... French banks ..... gardens .... well, thats not *so* odd, is it?? :rotfl:

EDIT: over on the original thread on the GIOL board, people have been and gone on it, with £96 profit - and here's me, who actually wants to use the blasted thing, stuck unable to fund it! Boo hoo!

    Morning campers!

I did three quarters of an hour in the garden last night, leapt into the bath afterwards so no allergy comeback at all this morning.....

So, what to do today? I've had a cancellation, so only one hour of paid work, leaves plenty of time for dfwing:
    - write the French letter, which sounds *so* rude. done!!! Can't believe it - I've been putting this off for months.
    - ring NatWest again, if they don't contact me. they contacted me!
    - little Nectar comp. done.
    - another enquiry re paid work. done.
    - possibly something in my garden, if I can find a shady piece of ground to work on.
    - otherwise: I posted a suggestion on the "suggestions for revisions to the intro matched betting thread" and a kindly soul has been pm'ing me about dutching, so I may well be off on a little research project today, pushing the boundaries on my knowledge - after all, the contact with the French bank is all about setting up to do Euro bookies and fund the French apartment! done a bit

Right, had my cuppa, washing machine is on (again), have sorted outdated mystery shop info, what am I gonna do now? I think its a question of those GIOL notes. Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Sigh. The French bank couldn't read my signature, it was too faint, so I redid the letter and signed with a marker pen, at their suggestion. Not heard from NatWest, but going to be working soon - I'll check once more when I'm free, and ring them if not.

With the scanning, I'm doing my bit for decluttering - each time I've scanned the letter, I've also scanned a couple of articles, and then put the articles on the decluttering pile. I *will* empty my house!

EDIT: justs back from work, and ..... tra-la### I got my activation email from NatWest.

Mizmir - thanks! I think so too. You have to fund it before they give you the credit, of course, and the money I put in is roughly equivalent to what I made last season on matched betting, so really *all* the account is free money. Of course, I haven't been able to actually trade yet - I've been setting up all my charts on the new username - it takes forever, as I really do have a precise set of signals.

Plus, I think I was a bit paranoid about the *danger Will Robinson* bit - if you got in and out on a share, say, midmorning, you'd lose very little of the money - max 5%, probably less. Vodafone is a popular one.

elantan - hi there, glad you might find a free £90 odd quid there, as above with the trading.

Right, thinking about what to do today. Again, only one hour of paid work (which is why London is so important, lol) so lots of time to do stuff:
    - Nectar comp - great standby for a list, that. done
    - be positive about life - yep, got that one. doing!
    - set up charts on new username for trading - I've done the morning ones, need a different set for the afternoon. That one's big, and really urgent, has to be done today. done. 5 mins after massive move. D'oh!
    - pop down to the local village, about 15m away, to buy some food - I did buy some stuff at the local spar shop yesterday, but I need a bit more, even tho the Abel & Cole box is coming tomorrow. not going! will be dfw and do my own teeny storecupboard challenge.
    - update my gardening diary on myfolia - I love doing that, even tho its mainly "dragged weeds away with my bare hands" type stuff - I'm doing a lot of work, and its definitely visible. done
    - anniversary card to my *little* sister - 26 years married! done
    - I WILL COOK SOME SNACKY THINGS FOR TOMORROW! I WILL COOK SOME SNACKY THINGS FOR TOMORROW!

Right, thats it. Do you think I'll cook? I wouldn't take that bet, but at least its on the list.....
