Whilst none of us can see into the future I can't believe that the war will end quickly 😕. The only thing to consider is if there may be any tax breaks or similar -but if I recall in the past heating oil is not usually covered?

Agree with others you may as well get it if you have the funds, it's not like it won't get used

I think the youngest fluffy is wondering where the off button is!

I went out with the nndn and daughter to see a psychic show. We went last year to see the same lady. It was initially hard going, not sure if it was the audience, or she was struggling. After the interval it picked up.
At the end she randomly picked me! Apparently I have a lovely energy, always on the go and practical! Practical will be written on my gravestone! She had 2 men with her and was I on my second marriage I said no I’m still training the first one! Did I have 2 dads? Yes a natural one and a step dad (I knew the natural one had passed but the stepdad I haven’t been in contact with since mum passed). She also had a black dog with a white bib, my heart dog! Still miss her. Then the killer line, you’re going to do a DIY project. Yes the garden/bar/games room. Don’t do it it’ll be a disaster and get someone in to do it! I’d only been talking to NNDN about in the interval. Then she said oh you’re opinionated, I replied no I’m not! Made my night.
The dishwasher has finally been mended at work. So not sure why the breakfast KP is still leaving a lot of breakfast dishes for the night KP. I sent a message to the manager and photo as I had no soup spoons for the start of service. There’s no excuse to leave stuff now it’s repaired.
The customer of fuel is scary, especially as we will have a trip south once the stork has delivered the new granddaughter.
Managed to nab a Morrisons slot for tomorrow so hopefully got some of the cheap veg.
Cooking a roast chicken for tea and while the oven is on I’ll do a lemon sponge.
The window to submit objections to the deer fencing has closed. I’m hoping there’s enough people objected so it has to go to committee. The planning portal has been playing up so it hadn’t updated how many comments have been made.

I have nearly completed a job that has been annoying me a long time. Ladies of my age will know the menopause is a gift that keeps on giving. After a particularly gruesome ‘episode’ that required the mattress protector and the mattress to be cleaned, it didn’t come up great. I read recently that white shaving foam is good for those types of marks. I can confirm it does indeed work. There’s a couple of patches I missed so I’ve reapplied and waiting 15 mins and then I’ll pop the carpet washer over it again and then wash my bedroom carpet as well.
As it’s a 5 pegger out there I’ve got all the pillow and mattress protectors in the wash and I’ll staple those to the line shortly.
I might spend the rest of the afternoon with the hair dryer drying said mattress. I won’t mention the colour of the water from the first wash…..
