The chap is coming to measure up and quote for the blinds today. I’ve got another one coming on Saturday as well. There’s been loads of moor fires in the annual burning. Last nights looked very impressive, it’s been burning for a few days. It looks like it’s out this morning. Lots of mixed views up here as to whether it should still be done, it makes for interesting reading.Double shift today, hope it’s not a late one tonight.Off to peg the washing out, looks like the weathers going to change.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Yesterday I managed to finally get the meds from the vets. Booked some tickets for a comedian at the end of May. Bought a watering can and priced up some sweet peas £12.95. Went to the garden centre and they were £4.50 so it would’ve been rude not to buy them. Ended up going back to the expensive shop to buy some canes as the garden centre had sold out. Dropped the blind samples back in at the shop along with my choices.Went to work and did 25 covers. By the end of service I was feeling really shabby. Stomach was hurting, feeling very hot and faint. Not sure if it was because it gets so hot or stress/anxiety. It’s the second time it’s happened. Boss lady has ordered a cooling fan, so hoping that will help.Quite has come through for the blinds, OH and I have both looked at it and are completely bambozzeled by it. I’ll phone them today.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Sorry you felt poorly.
we had a quote for blinds last week - we were bamboozled by the price which was twice as much as our top guesstimate!

Had quite a good day today, despite the leccy being off for planned works (9-5.30). The chap came round to measure for a second quote for blinds. The first lot have sent a second quote through but I’ve lost my faith with them. Just need the other quote before I make a decision.Did lots of pottery jobs including resealing the hearth, looking through a cookbook I borrowed and the dogs much to their disgust got brushed. It does look as if something has been killed on the lawn the amount of fluff strewn about. My hoover will be grateful at not having to deal with that, though I’m sure they’ll be as bad again tomorrow. They were rewarded with the last of the bones I got for them straight out the freezer. A bone lolly pop!
Have to confess to having a nanna nap but much needed and by the time i woke up it was back on.There’s a lady training in deep tissue massage and she’s got an offer £30 for an hour and you have to give feedback. I’ve booked in for next Thursday. I could really do with a facial. I moisturise day and night but feel like I need to stick my face in a bucket of moisturiser for a couple of hours.I did get the sweet peas planted yesterday, though they did look a bit sorry for themselves today.Only 5 sleeps till DD1 arrives!!

That does sound like a great deal @dawnybabes. Had a really good day today. OH and I started on project stream. We managed a good session without falling out. We had a few rest breaks when it started raining so didn’t completely exhaust ourselves. The showers were over pretty quickly and even managed to get a load of washing dried outside.Need to order some dumpy bags of builders sand then we can cement the stones in. We’ll probably order that a week on Tuesday when we come back from the outer isles. We still need to measure the area for a shed to be built and then we can order the timbers at the same time and get them delivered. We’ll probably build the shed and lay a concrete base further down the line.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Another working week finished. DD1 arrived just after midnight. She didn’t have to wait long at the roadworks before they let her through. She managed to hit the amnesty bang on the hour.OH has brought Daisy digger back to life, she really isn’t keen on living outside, hence the need for a shed, we must get that measured tonight ready for Tuesday.Need to get organised for our 3 day trip. Got to cook spaghetti Bol to take with us and decide what else we’re having food wise. Get the hounds sorted, food, meds, beds and toys as they’re coming.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013
