@lucielle - don't be too hard on yourself about the walking total.  If I told you I'd walked 27 miles this month you would tell me I was doing well.  It's 27 miles more than if you'd sat on the sofa.  👍

Well done on the walking. Glad the groomer came through and did the work and you are pleased with the results.

Thanks everyone. I too have been to the groomers and had my mop done. Still feel like I’m having an affair by not using my hairdresser down south. A completely different experience and not even a cup of coffee. It only cost £31 so a win there and I did leave a tip.
I have done a few more miles. Service was really busy (that’s good) on Wednesday night but it has really aggravated my ankle. Debating whether to go to the docs with it.
Had the first delivery of sand for operation dog kennel building. Still need the stone, which I think is coming today. Nearly had a disaster, initially thought it was all being delivered today until OH mentioned it was coming yesterday. I hung around as long as possible but had to leave to go and get my hair done. I actually met the chap on the road and told him to leave it next to the black pick up.   Had to stop at the post office where it dawned on me that my neighbour has a black pickup. Frantic phone call to neighbour with her dashing off the phone as she could hear her dogs going mad. Luckily he hadn’t started unloading. Phew!
Got 2 cottages to clean this morning to help a friend out.
Hoping the weather behaves then we can get the concrete pad laid.

Oh my foot is so sore. I’ve taken some painkillers and smothered it in cool freeze. I think will make an appointment at the doctors. Visibly it doesn’t look swollen and nothing wrong with it. If I lie on the bed and have the duvet on top of it, it’s agony. It did get easier today when I was wearing hiking boots.
I thought about wearing them to work but they were covered in concrete as we’ve been doing the pad for the kennel and run. It feels like tooth ache in my foot, it’s constant
Anyway We’ve got half the pad done.  Need to buy some more concrete for the other half.
B&b work was busy last night but quiet tonight. It doesn’t help as I stand around thinking how sore my hoof is.
i plan on not doing very much tomorrow. It does put the walks on hold so I’m probably not going to hit 50 miles this month.
Also feel exhausted, I’m hoping having my B12 jab this week will sort that. I could honestly take a nana nap at 10 in the morning. So if it all goes to plan we should have a kennel and run by the end of May

Hope you find a solution to your foot issue. It sounded from previous posts that you have a recurring issue with your feet or is that something else? It always amazes me how you soldier on regardless of pain.

Morning all, thanks for popping by. Yes that foot has a few issues. It feels a lot better this morning (I haven’t got out of bed to stand on it yet). I did nothing yesterday not even collected the bin from the top of the road. It was a shame as it was a lovely day. I went back to bed at 10.30, just feel very tired. Managed some lunch had another nap on the settee and then an early bath.
We went out for tea at a friends house didn’t get in till 11.30. It was the first time we’d met her OH and he was lovely and the food was delicious.

Hiya lucielle, I'm going to start reading your diary from the beginning (I'm from the North East of England and moved to Argyll in 2018 so feel a bit of solidarity :) ), but saw that you had a problem with your foot at the moment and even having a sheet over it was causing you pain. Just wondered if gout had ever been mentioned as a possibility. Hopefully it's not that, but if it is there are meds that can help. They need to be taken sooner rather than later to be effective, so I would definitely make a Drs appointment asap. Even if it's not gout, it sounds like you need a diagnosis. I'll hopefully catch up with you again soon.
