Hope you managed to increase your step count.

Glad DD is supporting DS too.

Hope you find a hairdresser. I'd find that difficult. Can you try DH to dye your hair? Cutting it may be trickier...

Woke up to lovely blue skies. OH dropped me off on his way to work and I walked home. With a couple of laps of the house got a mile walk in before work. Go me!!
I did call in at hairdressers in town but she wasn’t taking any clients on that needed colours doing. There is another one to try which is on today’s agenda.
Didn’t go to stichin as still felt rough and didn’t want to infect them as well.
Shopping collected and had stir fry for tea which OH cooked.
Hopefully going to make a start on getting a shed/kennel built so when the hounds are filthy or we’re out for the day they can go in there. OH has ordered some sand and stone, probably need to get a membrane we can do the pad as we have a cement mixer and digger to dig it out.
I made enquiries about getting a boat (tender) for when the big girl is moored to get us from A to B. He has them in stock and are £450 so possibly going to get one of those.
Managed to get to the bottom of my emails as I only worked one day for main job last week.

Glad I got the walk in, it’s raining now. The other hairdresser isn’t taking in new clients. Aagh I’m going to end up like Rapunzel!!!

Aargh.  Sounds like an opportunity for a new hairdresser to open up!

I forget, did the dogs get groomed?

Managed to book in for a cut, wash and bow dry. I think the days of getting a colour done are gone. Mind you it’s only £31 which is a lot cheaper!  Silver linings etc
The dogs are getting done on Sunday. OH is coming with me so hopefully it’ll be nice and we can get a walk in and maybe a coffee and cake.
Managed another sneaky mile in my lunch break. If it isn’t raining might get another one tonight

This combination of comments made me giggle - L, ask the dog groomer if they can do you as well as the hounds?! (Sorry!)

Great work sneaking in odd bits of walking where you can - I always try to get out at lunchtime and it was the main thing that made a real difference to the way I felt in the winter - just getting that bit of extra daylight I think.

If you stick to one colour - your DH could slap it on - like my DD did in lockdown. It was so worth it to me. Or ask a friend to paint it on for you when you go around.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I’ve reconciled it with myself to return to au natrel!  We both had the day off yesterday so went and purchased the tender to get us from A to B when the big girl is moored. Also bought DD2s birthday pressie which I posted today so hopefully should make it for 6 May.
Helped clean 2 cottages this morning, funds from that is going towards holiday spends. Not long now.
Off to b&b shortly. Don’t think there’s many booked in. I know I need to make fish pate. Such an exciting life I lead!
Paydays next week! Exciting, well probably not!
Ive emailed a company for a quote for panels and kennel to do the dog run.
Also emailed a company about a poly carbonate greenhouse. That was expensive so on the back burner for now.
Dogs to the groomers on Sunday.
