Glad everyone is back home. Good SIL can drive again - a huge relief I'm sure.

It’s a nice day and the groomers has cancelled the dogs so that’s a job to do. Washing in and will be pegged out once I’m up. I’ve got a longer walked planned to try and up the mileage a bit but must brush them first.
Got some cooked beef out the freezer to knock up a roast dinner for tea.
Work was quite busy last night and glad the other lady I work well with was in. A customer had a lot of allergies which we had to accommodate so that was a bit stressful. We worked it out between us and got it sorted.

Are you going to do the dogs yourself?

Have a grand walk, I'm heading swimming (outdoor) later instead.

Oooh Peb, very jealous. Do you actually swim or bob?  Hoping to go when DD1 is up.
I try and brush them but they hate it and contort themselves into awkward positions so I can’t get in all the nooks and crannies where they need brushing. I’ll message the groomer later this week as she hasn’t given me another date. I do have a feeling ( call me paranoid) that she might be dropping me.

Swim. It's up to 10 degrees now where I swam yesterday so a decent swim.

Good luck with the brushing, and even more luck with getting a new appointment with the groomers!

Oh that looks lovely @peb have you got any tips for a newbie?  Thinking about getting a rash vest and probably not going to bother with a wetsuit as I’m too fat for it.
Swerved brushing the dogs as I thought DD1 can give me a hand. Just back from a 2 mile walk including Everest

Looks lovely @peb but sounds cold!

Well done on the baking and the Everest walk Lucielle!  Good thought on DD - I like it. I think you could be right on the groomer - either that or they sound a bit flakey.
