Hi. I’m a bit broken but self inflicted. Attempted a Munro on Sunday but didn’t quite make it to the top  DD1 carried on a bit further, I waited with the dogs as there was a stone chute to scramble up and I was worried about rocks falling and their paws.  A total of 4 miles round trip.

So mileage wise, trying to do 50 miles per month.
    February was 18.66
    March was 42.03
Yesterday was a good walk and started off Aprils 50 with 8.77 miles, however the ankle is really sore today. We walked to an old clan settlement  DD1 finished it off with a dip in the sea. I did have my swimming stuff with me but the thought of trying to get my boots off and back on again and my ankle being sore, I gave it a miss. Plus we had to get the Morrisons order on the way home

I suspect you may find the sea a bit chilly still but excellent walking

That's great walking and what fabulous views as well - I really am quite envious! I did a fair amount of time-on-feet yesterday and I too have a sore ankle  today so I sympathise with that too.

That is a tough situation with DS isn't it - I'm not surprised you're having to tread gently around it as if things settle down and you've spoken out then it's going to come back and bite you isn't it. I'm glad the other chaps are also looking out for him though - that must also be reassuring for you.

Feeling sorry for myself, a cold is brewing and my nose is impersonating a tap. Also DD1 leaves in the early hours to head home. It’s been brilliant having her here and we do get along so well. I took some days off last week but still did the b&b. It was busier tonight but really just wanted to come home.
Dog groomer has been in touch, which I’m very relieved about. DD1 and I have had a go at them so hopefully they won’t be as bad as they were.
I’m struggling to get a hairdresser, the one recommended to me isn’t taking any new clients on. According to google there is another one in the town and I’ll try and phone them on Monday.
I’ve booked a family holiday to Ibiza in September. It gives them all time to save up.
DS2 should be home at some point tomorrow, back from Amsterdam. I think he’s only home for a week and then he’s back again. Probably just long enough to annoy his sister
DD2 will finish her night lambing tomorrow morning then back to her normal job on Monday.  Hopefully her new central heating boiler will be in and up and running.
DS1 is having a hard time with his lambing, they lamb outside and the weather has done them no favours.
I think that’s it for now. I’ll add up how many miles we’re at on Monday. Couldn’t do the big walk we planned as it rained too much and we wouldn’t get across the rivers.

Not feeling quite as dire today but head is full of mush and unable to concentrate for more than a few minutes. I did sleep a bit better so that helps.
DD1 made it hope ok. She made a small diversion to see DS1.
Going to try and do an exercise routine everyday this week. Already completed today’s. Mileage total so far is 21.49. Really don’t feel like walking anywhere other than to the fridge which is sadly lacking in anything naughty. Even after I collect today’s shopping it will still be sad.
I may try and get a walk when I get the shopping, will see how I feel and what the weather is doing.
