I agree BC. All recovered now. Had one of the hounds at the vets yesterday. She’s been a bit ‘leaky’ so thought it best to have her looked at. She’s got a hormone imbalance so is on doggy HRT. She’s on it before I am!
Got a text to say we’d had a win on the PB, I’ll be sad to see them go when we have to send some dosh towsrds DD2s deposit. Finally sorted out my login after numerous phone calls and waiting for the one winged carrier pigeon to make it with a temporary password!
Had a meeting 2.5 hours away yo meet my boss who was in the highlands looking at a couple of our sites. It was very productive for once and I’ve got lots of stuff to sink my gnashers in. I did have a moment of panic when I arrived at the hotel for the meeting to interest open yo non residents until 12 (this was at 9). Phoned boss who was staying at sister hotel and the manager from there spoke to this manager who decided it was ok as we use the sister hotel a lot. Phew!
Drive back was ok but it’s been as wet as an otters pocket.Took the bin for a walk up the lane as it’s back to normal bin day tomorrow. Thought I was going to have a coronary as I huffed and puffed up the lane like an ailing steam train.Looking forwards to a lie in tomorrow.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Hi Lucielle
Sorry you didn't quite have the Xmas you hoped for. Well done to the DDs. Well done on DD's house move. Hope the rental went through okay. Hope things are improving your end - although the weather forecast sounds interesting / exciting / challenging?

Honestly kids, no matter how old they still drive me up the wall. DS1s new tenant moves in the middle of the month. He needs to sort out tenancy agreement and landlord insurance. He goes on holiday on Friday. Grrrrr
DD1 is hopefully going to buy a cooker this weekend. 3 of them and friends went to watch the rugby last night, not sure how many sore heads there are this morning.Another quiet day today, I’ll take the hounds out and then probably crochet

Hope you manage to kick DS1 into dealing with his responsibilities ASAP - maybe remind him that there is no place in the market for amateur landlords, and it can end up costing (him) an awful lot of money if he doesn’t do things correctly, so if he’s not intending to be professional about it, he wants to back out now while there is still time? Alternatively - pick a few choice threads where a LL has b@115ed things up and it literally paying the price from the relevant board on here and scare the living daylights out of him! 😂
Good reminder on the bins - I think we have another week of disarray and are then back to normal - must check that I have a reminder for the relevant day in place…🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks EH. I’m hoping it gets sorted this week. DD1 has bought a cooker and they’re going to install it. She’s got a gas cooker with an electric oven, I didn’t know they did that. Mind you I’m not really into gas.Forgot to say I got a parking fine in Lockerbie. Every time I head south I get a fine. I wonder if the universe is telling me something.Had a very lazy day and didn’t get up till late. I feel tomorrow is going to be a struggle. I retrieved my coat from the neighbours. It’s a good coat to use when I brush the dogs as the hair doesn’t stick to it. That was my next job, they’ve had a rough groom and hopefully I’ll do them again. The groomers is looming. OH cooked a curry and Bombay potatoes, it was ok, which is about the highest comment I receive. He did look a bit crestfallen.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Bless on the crestfallen OH. Perhaps if you want him to cook again he needs a bit more of a boost...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Haha - do you think the message will sink in L? He can't expect you to be singing his cooking's praises if the best he comes up with when you cook is "OK" after all!
I'm quite envious of DD's gas hob I confess - I miss cooking with gas! (I miss how cheap cooking with gas is, too!)🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
