So I’ve got as far as putting the pressies into piles and my Christmas good will has gone. Had to have some delivered to DD1 as they wouldn’t deliver up here. OH left the gate open so had to chase the woolly fluffers (not the word I wanted to use) out. 1 I literally had to catch and drag through the gate, I was knackered after that. Shows how unfit I am. Cheeky sod ran in the garage!Done my Morrisons order for collection tomorrow, OH can get it on his way home Having a roast for dinner so need to prep the veg, cook a cake for Stitchin as it’s my turn I’ve chested and bought a gluten free one for the gluten free people Going to bake lemon drizzle for the others and maybe a jam sponge for pud for us. Just watched Doctor Who, love David Tennant as the doctor

Hmmm not quite the words I’d use HSL and I think mint sauce was mentioned once or twice!!!
I’m trying to sort out things in the house DD is moving out of as we’ve been helping with some of the bills. I contacted Vodafone to cancel the broadband, they said there would be a cancellation fee and also queried why DD1 didn’t want to transfer it to her new address. I said when I called into a Vodafone shop it was best to cancel it and for her to set it up in her name as it was less likely to go wrong. He didn’t understand why they said that and was a bit ansty about it. Then he started saying I had 12 months to run and about the cancellation fee. I stopped him and asked if Vodafone covered the Skye postcode….. after a bit of silence he said it didn’t and therefore there wouldn’t be a cancellation fee (I did have an inkling that this might be the case). So a small but welcome victory. Still need to sort gas, electric, council tax and water but can’t do that till she’s moved out.In a rush of blood on Black Friday I bought a Bissell handheld hot shot steam cleaner, thinking it would help clean the grout, oven, hob etc. It arrived yesterday and is going back today. It really was useless, it seems it will have to be elbow grease, grit and determination!
I’ve got another number for a dog groomer, so left them a message, hope they’re a bit cheaper. Watched some really good series on iplayer at the moment Kin was one and currently watching London kills.I managed to update my kindle which has been driving me mad every time I’ve tried to order something it comes up with application error and I’ve had to shut down and restart. Not checked it’s cured but that’s what google advised.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

ROFL loving the sheep in the garage!
Great news about DD1 and the house, but so sad for DS, so hard for you having to just stand by and there not being much you can do to make things better.
that's annoying about the steamer - I've got one of their steam mops which I really like for floors - and that has a handheld bit which I've used here and there and it's been reasonably good - I wonder if it's got more "oomph" because of needing to be able to cope with floors as well as just the shot of steam for cleaning?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

The steamer has been returned, actually very impressed it happened as it’s a known fact there’s time and then there’s Skye time. Showery today but with lots of rainbows. OH struggled to get out the Glen yesterday and according to fb the high school bus didn’t make it in!
In exciting news I was checking the app I have on my work phone for the solar panels have shown that yesterday one of the sites exported to the grid! I was so impressed especially as it’s winter.DS2 has returned from the Bristol Channel where he’s been working (literally in the channel on a boat with legs, so they don’t move with the tide). He’s off to Cork until Thursday then goes skiing on Saturday.Fingers crossed DS1 has somebody coming to look at the house as a potential tenant tonight. I’ve given him a few grey hairs as I ordered him some oil, changed the address but it got delivered to his old address. Turns out it just changed the billing address and not the delivery address. Hopefully he’s sorting it out.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013
