Hi SH, sadly not, so we've decided to stick with it for now. Got some offers on the table, just need to decide which ones to go with.

It can be hard making choices - I tend to get stuck in decision paralysis or am too gung ho - rarely an in-between.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Nothing happening on the mortgage front, still waiting for the last broker to come back with their proposals. I had hoped to get this all sorted before Christmas but it's highly unlikely to happen now. All payments being met.
Managed a sneaky couple of days in Skye and it was wonderful. No rain for 4 days and a balmy 10 degrees! Magical.
Trying to get sorted for Christmas but really not feeling the love. Both DDs will be in NZ. Sent 2 packages yesterday, at least they'll be together for the day itself. DS1 will come over on the day itself and DS2 will probably be at his girlfriends for some of the time. Not sure what to get them and have told them its a token gift as I paid for them to go parascending when we were in Turkey. OH and I don't bother. It's my birthday next week and I've told him not to bother over that as well.
Had the dogs bathed and brushed at the weekend and they smell a million times better and are lovely and fluffy.
Decided to move the date I paid the council tax to the 1st of the month. This means they aren't taking a payment this month so that's gone towards a card. Hoping to clear HSBC by the end of December, currently at £360

So yesterday I was another year older, not necessarily wiser. I had a day at home and did nothing except walk the dogs. Today I'm at home but got lots to do.
1 load of washing in, bedding waiting to go in. Need to do some accounts later and potentially present wrapping. May make mince pies as I've already made the pastry.

Thanks chaps, its nice when people post. HSBC card is now dead. I'm not closing it a the moment as I might need it to transfer the Lloyds card which is a biggie and probably wont be cleared before the 0% runs out.
The mortgage is still trying to be sorted but because its a holiday cottage and on the Isle of Skye its a bit like fitting a square peg in a round hole.
Went to my friends mums funeral on Tuesday, the church was packed. She was a lovely lady. RIP
Can't believe its nearly 12 months since my mum passed over. Time flies.
