Sadly the boy puppy didn't make it. We spent ages trying to get him warmed up, which meant him nestling in my cleavage for half an hour, a frantic dash to the vets for teats and moved inside (even though his mum isn't house trained she's doing very well). Just hoping we can keep the last one going. My dogs are bit put out as they've been banished from most of the house so they don't stress mum out.
It's a beautiful day, so I think we'll head off to the beach for a couple of hours and let them have some fun there.

Very sad. Hope the other one makes it and that your time on the beach blew the cobwebs away.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Both are doing well, though I do dread going in the kitchen in the morning. One is to see if the puppy is ok and the other to see what messages mum has left through the night. I don't think the floor has been mopped as often!!!!
The beach was great and saw 2 amazing kite surfers who were doing jumps and speeding through the surf at a great rate of knots. We did go out for lunch but just had soup, it was smoked haddock chowder (very much like Cullen Skink) and absolutely delicious.
Came home and started watching a new series on Netflix which DS2 recommended.

We tried to take the dogs for a long walk yesterday but they were behaving appallingly so that walk was curtailed before our blood pressure went through the roof! Had soup for lunch which was Pea and very nice. Cooked a roast for tea and DS1 came over to see his dog and puppy. Think she's going to be called Gin.
Off to work shortly, just waiting for the washer to finish then I can get the clothes out. Should be dog agility tonight (should go to misbehaved dog class instead!) so as long as I don't get too frozen I'll be going along with a chosen mutt.
Tea for me and OH is salmon and I'll do DS2 some posh burgers from the freezer as long as I remember to get them out before I go.

The one puppy is thriving and making lots of cute noises when mum goes for a walk. She's a week old today!
I did go to dog agility and took the younger dog, she did very well considering how long its been. Played badminton on Tuesday but didn't go to the pub afterwards and last night we both went swimming. I did 40 lengths but the pool is only 13.5m long and I worked out that I'll need to swim 120 lengths to do a mile. Something to aim for. I wish I could do front crawl properly. I either do my arms and legs and don't breathe or breathe and not get anywhere! My neck ends up aching from doing breast stroke.
We're off out on Saturday night. It's my friends birthday so off for a meal and we'll pick them up as her OH can't drive at the moment so if we get them she can have cheeky sherbert!
Had a meeting with Yell the other day about our package, we pay a lot of money for little return so are planning on dropping some of it. She pointed out that they could run a FB advert for us for a minimum of 6 months. When we cancel the other packages it would still mean an extra £50 on top of what we were paying a month. I have always said online is the route for us. Just in a quandry, thoughts welcome.
Paid 50 off the Lloyds card. Still eating that elephant one bite at a time.

Thanks Beanie. Still pondering. Shopping came in ok last night and a rough meal plan done for the week ahead.
Change of plan for tonight, Italian was fully booked so suggested we go to the place we had the lovely soup at last week. I really hope they had the special on that we saw as it sounded divine. I think OH is going to drive.
Puppy is doing really well and makes the cutest noises when mum leaves her. Shouldn't be long before her eyes open.

Puppy does sound cute. Getting a dog was a great decision for us - only had ours about 17 months but we wish we'd got one years ago even though she often gets into complete mischief!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
