Meal out was lovely and it was a late night for us. Luckily OH did the driving, so lots of brownie points earned.

Went out and about yesterday trying to do some observations for a business idea we have but it didn't really go to plan, so need to have a rethink.

get a fb page, and spend on advertising there, it will probably be a bidded pence per click thing.
or even if you have a website on its own, spend on google adwords.

if you go FB, make sure you engage regularly, this ups your rankings and exposure.

run an offer occaisonally and your shares will get through the roof, as if you put it as a term "share this to be in with chance of..." itll zoom.

Thanks, we do have a fb page but I hate the whole thing and really rubbish at updating. Will try harder.

Next Monday I'm hopefully (if enough people have signed up) going on a crochet course. I used to be able to do the very basics when I was younger (a heck of a lot younger, probably a spotty teenager) but I've forgotten. I'm not really an arty clarty type person but fancy having a go. So at the weekend I got the hook and a ball of wool then I'm ready for the off.

Took the older mutt to dog agility and spent some time working on the weaves, hopefully we'll get it cracked before too long. Badminton tonight and probs won't go to the pub afterwards either.

Didn't manage to get to badders, my car was low on fuel and OH didn't get back till late.

Had a bit of drama yesterday. We know our delivery drivers pretty well, so when J got dropped off in a pick up and not his usual van I thought he'd broken down. As he came in I noticed he was clutching his hand which was swollen and had blood running down. Made him sit down and OH got out chap who works for us to come and have a look (he was a paramedic) Turns out J had hit black ice and crashed into a tree. OH took him to hospital. We haven't heard how he is but think he'll need an operation as the bone had come out of his hand.

Must remember the fuel card to feed the car.

That sounds grim - glad you were there to help look after him and get him to hospital.

Hope you have a good day today.

J has got a broken wrist but not sure how badly as they can't x-ray it as its too swollen.

Nothing very exciting to report today, thinking we're going to cancel as much as possible with Yell as they're messing us about. Also trying to sort the business insurance out and a decision needs to be made tomorrow.

Yell always used to give a free one line listing anyway.... I set up a coaching business years ago using my mobile - and I still get calls now... even though I'm not currently doing it.

Yell has been informed of decision, so wait and see if it actually happens when it should do.

So business wise, we were trying to sort out a mortgage which was proving to be an absolute nightmare. In the end we have gone for a loan and after much soul searching and chatting with the chaps have borrowed their inheritance to help out. This hasn't been an easy decision to make and still doesn't sit very comfortably with me. We have a plan in place but need to be prepared for the curve balls, which inevitably crop up. Our accountant is going to visit more often so we can keep an eye on cashflow and hopefully prevent any problems being proactive instead of reactive. I have one more payment to do on Sunday and then a big weight will be off my shoulders.

Gin the puppy got wormed yesterday the little porker weighed in at 1.2kgs. She wasn't very impressed with the wormer.

I've done a meal plan for the week and roughly as follows:

homemade fajitas with salad leaves as wraps
spag bol with out the spag
red pepper chicken new recipe so not sure how that will be
gammon with celeriac chips and probably a fried egg
    Moroccan beef
    Pork mince wrapped in cabbage

Dogs are getting bathed and brushed on Sunday, so we'll call in at Booker while they're there. I need to get a catering pack of bacon and some supplies of herbs and spices.

Working tomorrow and need to get some items listed on Ebay as they've come in. Hopefully won't be there all day.

Dogs bathed and brushed, OH haircut and I've had my eyebrows threaded so all is good with the world.

Booker visited and purchased a box of bacon, catering pack of smoked paprika and curry powder. Needed some Garam Masala but they didn't have any.

Also bought a new tin opener from Dunelm and a couple of limes while I was out as Aldi didn't have any on Friday. Had a cheeky Costa and cake to kill a bit of time.

    Final payment made for business.
